  • I'm a US Marine, talked to a RMC once, he was a boot just like me, nicest guy, much respect for all the Commandos, really humble from what I gathered, not like the macho testosterone driven douchenozzles I have to deal with daily.

  • is that bear grylls voice ?

  • Shut up about the us marines you fucking loosers and who else is on PRMC 28th Feb?

  • really well done commercials. but why is he keeping his finger off the trigger while storming a building in combat?

  • @71983 What happens if an unarmed civvie walks out and our commando friend has an itchy Trigger finger?

  • @71983 Good trigger-discipline prevents bad shoots. Make sure the Muj gets it, not the kid or shopkeeper.

  • @71983 His fingers on the safety catch

  • One day I hope to one of these great solider. If my skills do not match up to what they think, I will join the MOD as an architect Designing Armour and weaponry for the British forces and other countries in danger of war and desperate measures.

  • is that bear grylls talking in the background?

  • @norcofoxrider No. It may be hard to believe, but he was too busy drinking his own pee.

  • "I'm planning on joining", "I'm going to join", "I'm going for selection", "I passed selection" =/= being one.

  • lolz, the front guy is gonna break his collar bone if he doesn't reposition his rifle.

  • Im going to be a US Marine, and I wouldnt want to be anything else. But you gotta admit; you're pretty feckin bad ass if you go into combat with a Berret.

  • @Devilsfurry At least you're actually doing something, rather than just being one of those keyboard-warrior idiots arguing over who is better. It's unlikely that you'll meet any Royal Marines, as they are commandos, and take on tasks much closer to the US Navy SEALs (who are, of course, also commandos.)

Anyway, good luck in the USMC! And, yes I agree about the beret. XD

  • I couldn't do it. Freely admit it.

  • Royal Marines are one of the best in the world!

    Massive respect to them.

    Tough as nails they are.

  • @RMCswimmerElite

ONE of the best in the world?! They have the longest training time of any unit in the world as far as I know!

Plus, they're British. 'Nuff said :P

  • just passed selcetion for the army, but god dam im impressed with rmc

  • im joining the army, got my last tests in couple of days, but god dam the marines looks far better haha

  • @benjsy i did all that mate, passed ADSC with a b but they fucked me off for no good reason, ive just passed my aptitude test for the RM and booking medical next week... so much more impressed with the RMC process so far!

  • @GIProductionz

i dont know why the fucked you off, i got a B in my ADSC and i have a specialist interview to go to because i want to be an ammunition technician, then ill know when i go, i dont see why they did that?

  • respect for the royal marines if i lived in the UK i would join the royal marines

  • yay

  • in britain we are so proud of the RM. i couldn't do what you guys do, but if you read this i want to tell you that i am proud of all british troops in afganastane & wipe out the filthy poppy growers with thier even more filthy drug traid i am with you in my thaughts. AS.

  • im in the infantry seriously considering transfer to the RM. just fancy taking soldiering to the next level.

  • im from canada, & my dads freind is in this and he says canadains can join. since we have nothing like this in Canada, im considering it ;)

  • Look!!British hong kong army before 1999 7

    /watch?v=_wgBOuVZvfI&feature=related

  • Damn..........why Hong Kong must return to China..otherwise I can use my BNO to join Royal marine..hahaha...I'm Hong Konger....

By the way,can BNO passport join Royal marine..

    Miss British..

    from Hong Kong

  • I gotta say, Royal marines have some bad ass commercial and quotes.

  • A trust that the US won't bomb you because they thought your flag was the same as the enemies who don't use flags.

Thats the trust that needs to be earned. The trust to accept allies will also shoot at you like bafoons.

  • well it can be a mere few days after passing out. But u couldnt be shipped out until u pass out otherwise u wouldnt be a bootneck, just a trainee. Besides thats why they join... to go to war and be a soldier

  • yeah you got a point there, but there a difference between cannon fodder and a soldier =]

  • You dont know wat ur talking about you dumb shit.

  • well 3 geneerations of my family has been in the royals so i think i have a basic grasp nob head

  • @pondhop3 its knob head...you obviously dont "have a basic grasp" of grammar

  • @samuelbliss11 Mate fuckof why even bother putting a comment as Feckin useless as that?

  • @pondhop3 haha you hypocrite! you just made a shitty comment....about a shitty comment

  • @samuelbliss11 shit you got me on that one..Fuck i did it again

  • @pondhop3 lol it ok lets be friends .... joke...lets just stop being mean

  • @brigginshaw best comment ever!!! so true

  • im goin to sign up for the U.S. Marines preety soon. but dammm im IMPRESSED by the Royal Marines!!! Respect from the U.S.!!!

  • @dodgerfan101562 Finally an American that actually acknowledges the British forces!!! thanks anyway! :) and you mate.

  • @dodgerfan101562 I hope you went infantry.

  • @dodgerfan101562 yeah well done you guys to the us marines are just as good there better for weapons were better for tactics they have tactics to but when they are combined its like coffe and dohnuts....

  • @dodgerfan101562 I am sorry to say this and I wont blame you if you got really mad but the US marines dont uphold the quality like other semi-elite units do. And the US marine force reckon dont uphold the quality that a commando grup would do.

  • @Osvath97 You would knows this by? Oh thats right you dont

  • i cant wait to sign up, ive been waiting my whole life.

  • i could never be a marine i would nt get past basic training just getting beasted the whole time

  • Yeah, hopefully going in the Marines as an Officer, I'm 14 but I'm really pushing with it even now, I can't wait to be among the Officers, and testing myself everyday. :D

  • good luck mate

  • The RMCS push themselves everyday the RMCs are the only force that trains the oficers and recruits together for basic

  • yo, im 14 and just want too be a soldier and then after a year go into the mechanics trade..... how come you want to be an oficer ?

  • I want to be an Officer because I admire the Officers and their ability to calmly command the highest trained infantry in the world, even when tired, hungry and possibly injured, in some of the harshest conditions the environment can offer. Also, my grades are high enough, so why the heck not?

  • sounds good.... but i prefer too be with the normal soldiers as more of the commisioned ranks do dont as much 'dirty' work... they just command others to do that.... even tho my grades will be high enough i think its better being a 'dirty' worker lol.... im going to become a mechanic as my trade :D

  • Heh, maybe after a few years when I get stuck behind a desk, but I aim to be a mountain leader, and one of the first to get into the dirty work, and if you don't wanna be an Officer, you can always work up to Troop Sergeant. ;D

  • adunno.... dont think al ever want too be promoted :/..... may to corprol like my brothers and sister but never too WO1 like my dad :P

  • I'd dread getting promoted too, especially since the higher the rank, the more desk work I will get.

  • Everyone must go through the dirty work. All marines serve 2 years general duties.

  • @Bridg3s I wish that was so. We only get a year now in a "grav" Company now before having to go on draft. Some lads get pinged for drafts just a few months out the box now.

  • If i had the Physical standerds to join these Guys i would..

Im trying to get to a normal standerd of fitness then Hopefully to an Army standerd which is a Big step.. for me on my dream of joining the british army

But the Royal Marines are another story all together their like Superhuman fit but if i could join the Royal marines which are apart of the royal navy i would.. :) their great ppl and ive met a few and done PT and their the best of the best.

  • they dont expect you to turn up in peak physical condion, they expect you to be there and have the will power to see it through to the end. They build up the physical fitness later steadily

  • i have my PRMC on the 1st of December , although what you say is true, there has been alot of lads applying laterly and because of this getting onto RT has become more of "survival of the fitest". if this is the case will power will not be enough for the lads who struggle physicaly.

  • No Mate, you need the same level of fitness to join the army as the Marines, i went into the army office and said i wanted to join the army because i dont think i have the fitness to get into the Marine...that bein said when i start my Application you have to get fit, and the guy at the army office said "you need the same level of fittness just the Marine carry on" bcausse Army basic is 14 weeks and RMC is 32 so they get more phys than the army that why they Athletes

  • yep... the course is 32 weeks too get any of the drop outs out first and too keep the loyal people.... if you really from your heart want to be a marine then you will stay till the end

  • No, the Royal Marine standards are higher than the army, with only the Para fitness requirements being similar.

  • yes i understand the marines must be must but both my brothers and my dad have passed, ( im joining as soon as im 16) and they say the main battle is in the head... if you can run or a few mile and your mentally fit you can join

  • its all about pushing urself man im getting in shape myself to join these guys wouldnt want to join anyone but the best u know

  • Yeah ino its all about makeing the effort sometimes but vadid666 i bet you are already at a good standerd of fitness where as with me Im trying to get fit after years of neglecting my body with hardly any exersize and im trying to get rid of some of the flab LOL on my belly .. so i have gave my self 1 year to get fit for the briitsh army i hope i make it.. and to me the british army is the best trained in the world but who knows i might decide to join the marines like my m8s one day.
