The original goes, Even a man who is pure in heart/ and says his prayers by night/ may become a wolf when the Wolfsbane blooms/ and the autumn moon is bright. Also, Wicca wasn't formed until the 1920's, and didn't gain prominence until the 1950's, so no Wiccans have been burned at stakes.
