  • ..Where did you go for see them?

  • I live in Sydney, and these are flying right into my kitchen every morning to wake me up so that I feed them with sugar. Gets annoying at times when they bite you in return while you feed them.

  • how long did it take for them to come close to you to start feeding them you,l just want to know? I want to feed them to.

  • Wow they must really trust you ! oxox

  • Another gorgeous video.

    Carol.

  • Where do you live?!

  • how wonderful to see!! Is this a regular occurrence? And I bet to many it's not even a big deal since it's so normal in your area. We should never take for granted all the amazing things nature brings to us! - Here in NY parrots are not native, however we do have a flourishing flock of wild Quaker Parrots that live in Brooklyn. They survive the winter by building their nests on the electric poles. Still amazes me when I see them. No one knows how they got here..

  • australia seems to be a nice place for those pretty birds. here in germany, you won´t find my really pretty birds!

  • wow that is just too cool, you must put seeds on there or something so they come over?

lol if I'm lucky I get to see a crow where I live lol. I have 3 lovebirds though they are so cute.

  • beautiful birds / were they wild?

  • are they wild? i miss mine......she had a stroke last year... very fun birds ^^... that poop alot...

  • Birds should be wild, not kept as pets! your taking away their one unique ability...flying!!

  • If you'd bothered to read the comments you would realise these ARE wild birds and not pets

  • Sorry..I meant to reply to the comment below mine

  • ONE unique ability? You obviously have not had much experience with birds. They have MANY unique abilities. They are amazing and beautiful and one of the best animal groups on earth..in my opinion =)

  • So are you saying that other animals are not amazing and beautiful?

  • No. If you had read my comment, I said "one of the best animal groups on earth" and I also said "in my opinion". This means I love birds. I said nothing about any other animal, and I definitely did not say that no other animals are amazing and/or beautiful. I think there are many amazing and beautiful animals on earth. I simply LOVE birds. Use your head.

  • lol you fail at life...

  • @barticus04 I've been to Australia and it was surprising how comfortable they were having us that close to them, they eat out of your hand and everything. But yeah, totally wild birds.

  • how much are these birds? i mean their species. i want to get one so bad! they look like the best pet!

  • When i bought mine about 4 months ago i loved it, so tame and cute but as they get older they become really loud, even the tame ones. Now i regret buying it, i would'nt reccomend them at all, they literally scream all day, every day it will drive the most patient of people INSANE. Here in australia we have them everywhere outside, you can hear them screaming from 100s of metres away, now imagine that noise in your house all day 7days a week. Getting rid of it, buying an African Grey : )

  • these are very social birds, maybe you should spend more time with it. I'm an impatient person, and love my Skittles to death, she's like a 2year old child. Greys get loud too. maybe you should get some fish.

  • Yeah i have been spending no less than half an hour with him every day since i bought him, he is very tame and loves everyone even the cat, on top of that he is kept indoors so he is constantly getting attention from someone even when he's inside the the huge ass cage which can barely fit in the door. I have owned much larger birds before including a cockatoo and galah and neither were hand reared but nowhere near as noisy.

  • I guess the point im trying to make for some of you potential buyers is, don't under estimate the energy and voice box of these little trouble makers. Unless you have a suitable catproof enclosure ouside your home to keep it in, make a pass on the Rainbow Lorikeet.

  • how did you get them to come on yous balconnie?

  • We buy bird seed from the supermarket and put it on the railing.

  • how are you going to get you white parrot back? he is you pet right?

  • a pet cockatoo would usually either have its wings clipped or be in an aviary, but stuff happens

  • No, he's not a pet. He's a wild cockatoo. :)

  • wow a wild cockatoo came that close to you? must of been wonderful

  • It's not a cockatoo. It's a lorikeet.Big difference.

  • Dude, you my friend are a complete moron.

  • i'm pretty sure that its a sulphur crested cockatoo @ 1:15...if its not, then what bird do you suppose it is at 1:15? and by "wild" i meant that it wasn't a pet cockatoo as the person who took this video said it themselves...

  • you're right. that IS a sulphur crested cockatoo.

  • you're showing off your ignorance. Sulphur crested cockatoos are native to Australia, you idiot. They are wild.

  • Retard, that's a Rainbow Lorikeet.

  • lol im from brisbane and we have these two lorikeets who bang on our window at like 5 in the morning for food. and they come and sit on your head sometimes

  • How lovely to see them free!

  • i saw these at a zoo. you can go in the cage with them. its amazing. they are truly beautiful birds

  • amazing animals! i'm curious, why dont they fly away?

  • Food! food and more food!!!

If you keep giving it to them they will come back, very smart birds.

I live in Sydney too and I have a close up video of some Rainbow lorikets and some Cockatoos on my Youtube that were in my backyard, they eat all the fruit around house aswell as the food we give them.

  • well and good, but what u dont want to happen is for them to become dependent off u.

  • they don't fly away coz they want food lol

  • wonderfull

  • I wish we had feral parrots landing on our porch...

  • move to sydney! ;D
