  • then they say imran khan won the 1992 wolrd cup wht a waste

  • Lovely

  • Pakistani's bloody terrorists,corrupted fellows,match fixers.

  • @yaarosunlozara hahahaha frustrated hater keep talking shit

  • @yaarosunlozara so your mum..

  • THATS A NO BALL ALSO OVER HES WAIST CLEARLY!!!

  • @tariqz118 True, but that rule unfortunately wasn't made until the 2000s.

  • @niyaazkhan, I agree with everything you've said except for your statement, ''...After 2000, everything went wrong for Pakistan...'', because Pakistan was actually peaking in 2009-2010. They won the 2009 T20 World Cup, were the semi-finalists of the 2010 T20 World Cup, took their revenge against Australia in two T20s in England with the excellent comeback of Umar Gul (the no.1 bowler in T20 cricket) and still had Mohammad Aamer and Mohammad Asif. After the fixing scandal, everything went wrong.

  • I am blessed to play with him...

  • Pakistan one even with a draw over waist no ball without bouncing

  • the great pakistani..................

  • @AWESOMWRESTLINGDUDE here; I wonder why it doesn't appear in the comments:

    espncricinfo. com/ci/engine/match/65496. html

  • @AhsanIqbalMega remove the spaces and it shall work

  • For those who want to know which match is it........ here's the link:

  • In the 1980's and 1990's,Pakistan had players who played with sooooooooooo much of patriotism and passion and fighting till the very last end, especially when they play against India!!.........After 2000,everything went wrong for Pakistan!!!!.......The newq generation of Pakistani players just dont have that passion and fire.........It was miserable watching the way they chased against India In world cup semi final 2011!!!.......

  • @niyaazkhan yeah we cant replace Imran, miandad, anwar, wasim, qadir, saqlain & waqar

comparing akmal, taufeeq, gul, wahab, ajmal or shahzad with them is like comparing tamim iqbal with Brian lara!

  • @imthemess

In the 1980s and 1990s,every team used to have certain kind of fear while playing against Pakistan........especially India!!!!

Thats because those Pakistani players had raw talent.....More importantly, they had a lot of passion, fire and never-say-die attitude.......

Today's Paki players dont have that kind of talent........And they dont have passion, pride and fighting spirit....

Only Afridi still has that PASSION..........But his batting skills have become poor........

  • @niyaazkhan its not about talent mate.. its about Merit.. talent is stil there.. some of our cricketers were victim of racism n politics anwar didnt play in 91,92 waqar was dropped in 98/99 . imran farhant got selected cz his father in law is a selector, shoaib malik's uncl was a minister, they ruinned careers.. they didnt select anwar ali, nasir jamshed & so many others :(

  • @imthemess

what u say ha to be true..........i still remember how the legendary Saqlain mushtaq's career was cut-short because of dirty politics.........saqlain played his last test match at the age of just 27..........so cruel,man......he should have played for at-least another 11 years.......he should still be playing......

  • Too bad he came out of the crease, otherwise it would've been a waist high NO-BALL and Pakistan would have gotten an extra run and won the game lol. Oh well still a good finish!

  • @hakoon1234 no extra run only a extra ball.. becoz those days rules for no Ball were different than present rules.

  • Yes, but Asif woke up the next morning and he was still a Pakistani. Who were the real winners?

  • @Bajaur888 - Triangular series during 1992-93 season including West Indies. West Indies went on to win this tri-series including 2-1 test series win against Australia.

  • @yaarosunlozara nahi tu.. mein tu canada mein parhta hon.. mughay tu aj tak kisi ne yeh nahi kaha.. mera khayal hai ap indians ki baat kar rahay hein..

  • @yaarosunlozara And what about india?..............who just decided about Babri Masjid judiciary in such a funny and bully manners.

    Doctor Professor Arslan Muhammad Chouhdary

    London University, London

  • hmm it was a nice moment in cricket history

  • wow

  • wow

  • karachi sher mahajir asif mujtaba

  • Pakistani chor maakelounde..............Cricket pura bulle mai miladiye.....Har baar match fixing ......galeez maakelounde.

  • @yaarosunlozara Typpical Indian obsession against Pakistan. Could not digest Miandad's sixer yet. Made six movies on Miandad's sixer so far. One movie Lagaan even got nominated for Oscar. LOL.

  • @hassanfarooqi naa i am very sure hes a pakistani venting out his frustration

and the way he types .. i am pretty sure about him

  • @yaarosunlozara how about you learn some english and then comment?

no one can understand your comment.

  • I remember that match! I saw it live!

  • hey Mujhtuba hit a six once.... amazing!!!! one of the most mind numbingly boring players to watch

  • its not in 1987...it was after 1992....pakistan was world champion at this time...

  • mujataba mujataba

  • he made 60 in perth january 1987 and paki won by 1 wkt .i see that inng highlights

  • he was wasted....he had 2 other great innings when he scored 57 runs in 3.3 overs against Australia probably in world series in late 80s, or early 90s,,,,and pakistan won , and also against SA with Miandad, Pakistan won that match too.........

  • He infact won a game for Pakistan in similar fashion in Australia in 1986 World Series. He didnt hit a six of the last ball but hit one in the last over, that was bowled by Steve Waugh. Go read his info on wikipedia~!

I hope the foul word you used isn't used every time you disagree with someone. Its only losers who speak this way. Have fun~!

  • can any one tell me why Asif Mujtaba could not play long for pakistan

  • come on dude

you can have only one keeper in the team

    and imran khan, badboodar, punjabi

    wtf

    asif mujtaba was not consistent

he had average of 24 in tests and ODI average of 26

  • That's a big hit

  • That was a great one

  • The best thing is that he repeated this feat again against australia in australia hitting last ball for six to tie the match. It was in the World Series after the 1992 World Cup. I would love to see that clip as well

  • Had it been Aussies they would have shrugged their shoulders.

  • What are you talking about...you Fuckhead..check your fucking comment..this match was Tied not a draw..now who's Stupid?...Fucking motherfucker...Pakis Rules man...Fucking World Champs...ozzies r looser's..didnt even made for 2nd round...LMFAO...

  • I'm an accountant, not an auditor.

  • no you are just another incest bitch...

  • that draw was good as a win.. you dummy..

  • Draw pin from a grenade that is - for a Paki it's a win.

  • so funny that asif mujtaba, being famous for his slow batting, been involved in some of the most thriilling ODI finishes of all time, twice against Australia, once against west indies. its really ironic.

  • I was in college that time and watched this match live in hostel. It was a great moment. We all friends jumped up in the air when he hit six.

  • i dnt knw when was this but i can remember i waz a kid... was a great game... does any1 knw when waz dis?

  • wht he was doing at the end ....why he was looking tht way?

  • i hate asif mujtaba he was the slowest batsman at that time. anyways good shot

  • i remember this match... n he was the man of the match as well :D finishing it miandad style!!!

  • thats awesome, thats how cricket should be played. Its never over untill its over

  • Comment removed

  • We r proud of PAKISTAN

  • niceeeeeeeeeee one

    LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THIS VIDEO

  • u know what MR lineofwisdom he is my dad and i think that it is rude of u saying that to him....what if i called ur dad a CHARSI, would u like it?

  • Dear Javed, my nephew (as I remember, when were your born and named Javed) I think you must re-read my last comment to know the actual / real essence of calling him Charsi.

I never said that he was a drugy but said we friends use to call him, and yes some of my friends might still be caling him. He is our national hero and I know him because of being a National Hero not as your father.

Do not belittle him, by calling him "my dad, my dad and my dad".

    Love you Mujtabas,

    Regards,

    LoW

  • Wow.. You calling him Charsi is not degrading him but his son calling him dad is???

You are definitely high on some skunk..

  • Dear,

Zadanok, try to understand the real essence of my saying. The point has moved away from "Charsi" or "Namazi". I am saying that he is a national hero, don't limit him as your father on such international forum as he is known to us as a Hero not as your dad. He is a good and nice man, I know. May Allah's blessings be upon him, Ameen.

    Regards,

    LoW

  • yea, and mohammad yousuf is my brother...

  • Yes, I remember, it was debated that whether it was no ball or not, as it was waist-high.

Beside this, let me add that at that time Stephen rodger Waugh who is known as Steve Waugh was the most toughest bowler of the world because of having technique of bowling 6 different varities. Means every ball different in an over.

Love you Asif Mujtaba (Charsi). We friends use to call him Charsi as he use to play without worrying about anything.

    Regards,

    LoW

  • Crap Ball.

  • wasn't that a no ball....over the waist! ...

    pakistan zindabad!

  • Not in 1992 it wasn't. That law came in later.

  • the look on Ian Chappels face was priceless

  • i like this clip

  • thats my dad right there

what an amazing six by him

  • be proud of ur dad.

    We are proud of him

  • Ur dad was an amazing player. And this six was priceless..although i think it was a no ball..but anyways, takes a huge courage to hit a six under that amount of pressure. We are proud of him and im sure so are you.

  • pakistanis are so lucky. Why do they always get high full toss at last bowl?

  • lol full toss smash 4 six mindad and asif mujtaba fulltoss las ball also six

  • what was ian doing in the dressing room?

  • he came to my house when i was small in oakistan

  • his son played on my team this week...it was the u.s national under 15 tournament...he was a off spinner...highest wicket taker...now going with the us national u 15 team..very good player...batted one down

  • I once met Asif Mujtaba in a mosque near my house (He wasn't very famous then though)! I was like 8 years old too, so I didn't knew the significance of the event :)

  • full toss for the last ball.....lol. Steve Waugh got OWNED!

  • good stuffs

Chanderpaul's was amazing! so was Brendan Taylor's both came in winning causes!

  • w0w wat a nice hero, guess he won his own match:D

  • I cant forget this match..80's and early 90's Pakistan of Imran khan, was the most brilliant cricket side...bowlers, batsmen, allrounders with so many talented cricketers...wow! Asif Mujtaba was a genius player..who sadly didnt get enough recognition...

  • Who?

  • thats a massive six! you dont see that big a six anymore!
