I got a 100" projector screen. Having trouble with the pointer. When I point at the upper half of the screen it disappears. Tried to move the reciever to the top of the screen, but then my pointer wont show on the lower half of the screen. Have also tried a wireless reciever but I got the same problem. Any suggestions?
The Wii cables just plugs right into the back of a projector. It's very simple to do. I also hooked my daughters PS2 into the back, and let her play her games on an 8 ft wide screen. I even hooked my computer into our projector so I could play BF1942. Video cameras, DVD players, VCRs, just about anything can be plugged into the back of a projector. We love ours it's awesome. Why people keep waisting money on over priced puny plasma TV's is beyond me. Can't beat an 8 to 10ft wide movie screen.
I think my only concern with my projector is where/how to place that damned sensor bar. I dont own a wii nor do i know much about them but I've given thought to it, and I dont think the cables would reach from the wii to the sensor. not to mention I dont want cables running all over the place 8*( do they sell wireless "sensors" etc or have they yet to release any???
On the back of most projectors they have an HDMI port for DVD/Blu-ray players. An analog computer input For your comp. S-video for VCR. Composite (RCA jack) and component video (RGB) inputs for Playstations. If your ceilings are high enough you can mount it to the ceiling and not worry about blocking the projection. I mostly use mine for viewing Blu-ray movies. 1080p projectors make for awesome viewing with blu-ray films.

How do you set up the sounds while playing on Wii with the projector?

which projector do you have ?

And the sad part is that it looks as crap as it would on a 100 year old CRT screen if you don't use component cables.

its easy all you need is a wireless sensor bar and stick it to the wall
sualeh727 3 years ago
Or just put it on the TV like we did. The wall was big enough to leave the TV in place.

The only slight downside is you have to stand a little bit to the sides of the screen, or you'd be blocking the projector beam.
