BMW's testing facility and their factory is in SC...yes, that is where they do it. They have not announced anything available in Cali, and it would only be an advanced M school, which you can only attend if you did regular M school. In my opinion, it was worth every penny.

I attended free with hotel and food all on BMW because i was a former E60 M5 owner which is pretty sweet!! But it was Performance Driving School not M, although we got to drive nearly every BMW

Looks like you had fun, I want to go to one of their schools, but they are so expensive, the cheapest is the teenager one (only 17), but they only use automatics so no way will that work for me. Hopefully I can do one of these in a few years.

The person who was filming all of this had actually done the teen school. He got to drive an e90 m3 6 speed. Just saying.

Weird, I asked another video poster about their teen driving experience and they said that teens are not allowed to drive manual gearboxes. I suppose it would be better to ask an instructor themselves. Thanks for that information though, you just rekindled my urge to go to the teen school! haha.

I can't speak for the instructors in the teen school, but as far as my experience, the instructors are all enthusiasts who are more than happy to accommodate you. For example, on day 2, I requested an E92 M3 to drive on the hot lapping session, since they aren't offered for that. The instructors went quite far out of their way to try and facilitate it. Regardless, manual or not, it's a good time.

i went to the teen school, and everybody drove 335i autos (i wanted to use a manual). but it was still a blast. but it's worth a try calling them and asking.
