Great shots of Corvo in the distance. The airstrip in front of the French estate wasn't there in 1967. Just a ship every two weeks. We were based in the school in Santa Cruz and had houses put at our disposal in Lajes and Faja Grande. It was an idyllic summer - nearly 40 years ago! En route, we set foot on each island. We saw the Sete Citades, climbed Corvo. Brilliant memories. I was 20 on during our stay.
Tom Trust. Although I totally disagree with almost all of your opinions when it comes to EU, I have to give it to you how you took some guy down who was implying you had nothing travelled, and you were only xenophopic islander and what not. You obviously know your shit when it comes to geography.
Wow, The Azores Islands are very beautiful. How many islands are there in Azores. Does the Azores not want to become independent from Portugal? I think it would do good for your economy.
