  • thats the episode when doreen hangs herself

  • Loved Lizzie Birdsworth

  • It has been freezeframed on the last credit, because the original channel ten station ident has been edited out.So you miss the tear. Watch the sad ending for Bea over the end credits of #191

  • what eposide is this from?

  • @wcboy1962 That was from season 2, when Doreen tried to kill herself. Kevin broke up with her, she went into the laundry room and tore some sheets in half, Then she put a noose around her neck. Luckily, Vera and the woman with the thick glasses found her just in time. But the poor girl had been raped by a man that she worked for he got her pregnant, but the poor girl had a miscarriage.

  • what ep is this?

  • which episode was this? thanks for sharing

  • why did the aussies call it 'prisoner' and in GB they call it PCBH?

  • @zoozy15 Because back in the day we had our own series called "The Prisoner" so they changed the name

  • theres another ending like this that i loved--was just after meg jackson /morrisons first husband bill, was murdred and she was walking down the halls crying as the prisoners were walking past her--season 1 i think....sooooo sad..im crying now LOL

  • @royalDJjamie LOL I'll have to look out for that

  • @swashey I think that was episode 4, guys. :o)

  • Used to love it when they showed the credits over live action as opposed to the officer doing the lock up.

Just a shame here that the last credit is a freeze frame: on the original broadcast you see a single tear fall down Doreen's face.

  • The main theme's sad, too.

  • It is sad theme cos of sad ending LOL

  • This isn't the 'sad theme' - this is the usual instrumental theme which at that time was used (more or less) in rotation with the vocal version. They stopped using this theme around episode 220ish.

The actual 'sad/main character leaving theme' is the one used on the credits of episode 4.

  • poor doreen and kevin
