Ok, well what happens when your cell phone runs out of minutes, and you can't do anything but text in an emergency situtaion? You'll be pretty damn thankful you have texting to save your sorry ass! lol and for the people who text in class, thats their own problem that they're failing. Texting is okay once in a while, but obsessive texting disorder is quite annoying. I think texting is also safer because holding a cell phone to your head eventually leads to brain cancer. Meh, it all depends.
