No, they fit just fine. I have determined that this is way too much power for this boat to handle. On 6s, you can't control it.  I have since taken the vxl's out of it.

It would most definitely work better. Two VXL systems on 3s each is way too much power for this boat. It is uncontrollable.

@mempey What kind of motor would you suggest i put in mine? i was looking at two ezrun 4300kv motors from hobbypartz. Their core is only the size of a 380 brushless motor. I'm looking to make it a little faster than the stock boat but not by much.

did you have to have the counter rotating motors?also how would you get the cooling setup to flow water through it?

Yes, with brushless motors, all you have to do is switch any two of the three motor wire connections. The cooling system picks up water from a tube sticking down from the rear of the boat, flows through the tubes around the motors and out the side.

how'd you set this up, did you just hook the two esc's together through a Y-Splitter cable?

also, how'd you hook the batteries up, did you connect each battery to its own esc or did you hook em together through a parallel connection?

im trying to figure out how to do this because in the future i wanna properly do a dual vxl setup in one of my trucks.

Exactly like you said, a y splitter to the receiver and one battery to each ESC.

@mempey ok, just tryin to find out. on the video of the Traxxas V-Twin E-maxx Prototype, a bunch of people are claiming that running a dual esc can be tricky so im just making sure it wont require any major modding.

quick question, what type and brand of battery you use? i run a maxamps 3S in my slash vxl but those are SPENDY so im lookin at cheaper venom lipo's

Easy, switch two of the three motor leads on one of the motors

so how are the 2 esc's working together?? just a y harness to the reciver? and is each esc using its own battery?

I used a Y harness, and actually when you turn one on, the other one comes on as well. One 3s lipo for each esc.

Be careful doing that, the motors might overheat. You might go faster but the motors will have to work really hard. I would stick to the same gears.

Probably just as fast as with 2 VXL's! I would have gone with Castles but the VXL3s' are waterproof. i thought that would be a safer option. I have 3 complete castle systems (Mambas) and a Sidewinder ESC in my crawler. They make great stuff!

Thanks! It does take pictures, they are pretty good, but not fantastic, unlike the spectacular video it takes. I will include pictures in my next video.
