I'm 51 years old and had never heard this song until 3 weeks ago. What the ____ kind of Neil Young fan can I call myself? Worse than casual, obviously. Talk about a gorgeous song.....this is it! Flame away; I deserve it.

Victoria Williams opened for Neil.

The crowd was pretty rude during her set.

They kept yelling "NEIL"

At one point between songs, she says "Gee , You don't have to yell out his name so much....Mr Neil Young will be out shortly. He asked me to open for him....we'll be done here soon.

The crowd roared, she did one more song, and got out of there.

I wonder if the rubes who were yelling during the middle of Neil's song wonder--now that they're older and hopefully wiser--if they should have just shut up. Or do they turn to their children and say "you hear that right there, that yeller was ME!"
