Heel to toe provides "spin" on the puck which prevents it from "knuckling". It is essential to start from the heel and then follow with the toe, pointing to where you want to feather the pass. Perhaps a little more explanation in the video would've helped.
he might not have, but everybody has their own preferred way of doing it. for me personally, i kind of chip the puck. because that is how i feel comfortable when doing them. like i said before, its all on personal preference and how you feel and like the puck on your stick.
