Not main stream bollywood movies: 1. Aakrosh - tackling a huge topic. 2. Khosla Ka Ghosla 3. Yuva 4. Dosti: Friends Forever 5. A Wednesday 6. Chak De India 7. Swades 8. Khuda Ke Liye 9. Kaante 10. 8x10 Tasveer (Different story brought to the industry)

These are my comercial film picks: 1. Dil Chahta Hai 2. Hera Pheri (undefeated comedy movie since the 2000s and onwards) 3. Mohabhattein (not the typical SRK lovestory, made it a good watch) 4. Dhadkan (my all time fav love story) 5. Golmaal series 6. Munna Bhai series 7. 3 idiots 8. Namastey London (all of Akshay's 2007 movies fall under this category, and Singh Is Kinng) 9. Deewangee (Ajay's best thriller ever) 10. Hungama/Hulchul (comic timing perfect) I have a diff view for small films.

4. Munna Bhai MBBS (Great comedy with substance)

3. Dil Chahta Hai (Best Youth film of my Generation)

2. Vaastav ( Last 10 mins is a classic)

And Drum-roll please

1. Lagaan-What's not to like about this film- Great screenplay & Dir. By Ashutosh. Brilliant acting by AK, Awesome Soundtrack by Rahman. I watched this movie in NYC back in 2000 & Couldn't believe such a brilliant film can be made in India

Overall, Its a Great list..But. Here is my personal list:

10. A Wednesday (Great Script)

9. 3 Idiots (Great movie, just didnot like the last 15 minutes otherwise it would go up in this rankings)

8. Sarkar (Big B's best performance since his 90's hit Hum- Marlon Brando would appreciate this)

7. Taare Zameen Par (Brilliant Perfom. by Darsheel & B. writing by Amole G)

6. Swades (If u lived overseas like me, it will touch your heart esp music by Rahman)

its not that i searched ur video and commented ... it was been advertsied/spammed somewhere.. . and i thought it would be unbiased.. and was not aware its "My fav" top 10 i just misunderstood as TOP 10 bollywood movies

@prabhu19 there is nothing like "Absolute Top 10 Bollywood Movies". It is totally subjective and varies from individual to individual. I thought this fact was obvious. I am not responsible for your ignorance

now see how many Aamir movie came 9, out of which mela, mangal panday , fanna were total crap

left with 6 movies out of which u included 4 movies.. I don't think this is fare to all the movies which were made in 10 years

@prabhu19 first of all, opinions differ. i judge movie on its own merit and not based on the lead actors involved. you look at the actors involved thats why you r finding it unfair that 4 of the aamir khan's movies are present. what do u mean by it's unfair to include both parts of munna bhai?? i dont go like, i have included one part, so let's leave out the other. again, these are just my opinions....i would suggest you to post you own list of top 10 movies.

The reasons I find Lage Raho Munna Bhai is the greatest movie of the decade is:

1. Originality (hardly found in Indian movies)

2. has a social message....makes u appreciate smaller things in life...without getting preachy

3. Absolutely Entertaining!

@psspeed123 i agree with u. a well thought out list. i too find munna bhai series as one of greatest films made in Indian cinema.

i personally think u should have included 3 idiots and Chak De India in the list.

You forgot to Add 3 Idiots and could have made it Top 5 AAmir movies or Movies of AAMir he acted in this decade

@prabhu19 i am not aamir khan's fan. but, lagaan, dil chahta hai and taare zameen par deserved to be in top 5 list, in my opinion.
