Your cracked. NHL 96.... ha! How many of them programmers watch hockey. Watch the footage. It speaks for itself. I watched him play in Senior hockey/Minors and NHL. One Bad dude.
That is why i lifted the question, cause i may question it this time, but thei have accually done a decent job on all other fighers that why, Berube 96 %, May 96 %, Ray 96 %, Brown 100 %, Probert 100 %, Kocur, 100%, Cummings 75 % Twist 75 % (pre roids) Ciccone 75 %
and we dont know either if the programmers did it all self, perhaps recieved reviews from like NHLPA or other contacts i mean thei accuaired the roster license, thei where probably quality watched in return
@Bryskens % probably based on PM in the lastseason...roberge was not always dressed...and dont fotget hes somthing like 185-190 lbs....a midleweight fightin with some real big guys l;ike you named before
@Jo3mD You should ask that to the ranking-officers at EA sports in 1996 who worked on Roberges stats instead, i hade not seen any real fights with him before youtube, and now i just wanna act consequent and still question the possible truth since so many seem to disagree with that he only deserves 25 % fighting in NHL 96
Roberge fought Brent Hughes after that with the same stuff. Mario was upset to finish his career with that. Montreal is always like that, the only tough guys to play more three seasons and have respect was Chris Nilan.
Roberge was to the NHL with his brother's in 1988-89. Mtl prefer Steven Martinson who lost all of his fights. After they take Todd Ewen. I cannot say that Roberge his better because at this time you got many enforcers but for sure Roberge will be in the top 20.
i saw roberge play in utica for the mohawk valley prowlers, he was washed up but could still scrap with the best of them, the only better fighter ive ever seen was his brother serge, who played there also
Roberge threw 30 punches, but they didn't break wind.

Adda boy Roberge, the REAL super mario!

@offthelinegt Narrow or clear win Roberge, but no one was in clear control .
Ray had a control later.
Early they had a cool toe to toe phase/period where both dudes landed them heavily to the mark but Ray got stunned with one.
CLEAR WIN Roberge, but narrow win Roberge isnt dumb call.

Hmm..Roberge have 35 % fighting skills out of 100 % in EA's NHL 96 game, together with wery high aggression, thats not a good combination
thei must base that on something i assume :/ and yes i somewhat trust EA's competence

For some reason, I never think of Roberge when remembering Habs enforcers. No idea why, his name just never pops into my head. Oh well, good scrap.
