I grew up in Lucerne. Nice town.

But with all due respect: This video is ridicoulus! First of all: the filming is less than mediocre! Your first camera ever?

And what is the point of the Beethoven music? Your mumbling doesn't accomplish much either, and are you seriously expecting anybody to watch this, and getting excited about Lucerne?

Please learn some basic about film-making, and don't clutter You-tube with this trash (must say, I've seen worse, though...)

I you grew up there can you please tell me, is it OK to jump off the wooden bridge and swim in the water??? Does anyone ever do it? Will i get in trouble?  I visited about 8 years ago and I remember looking down into the crystal clear water and wanting to swim there, but my friends all said I would get in trouble! I hope to go back and theis time I would really like to swim there, have you ever done it???

i did it. you should certainly be a good swimmer. there are some dangerous spots by the motorway bridge poles, but its truly fun...

Really? Ok, I'm a good swimmer and i will be cautious, i just thought it was strange because it was summer on a hot day and no one was swimming there! Why don't more people swim there? are you from Lucerne?

maybe because you have to walk all the way back :-) and reaching the big conrete columns by the bridge it's said to have whirls that can pull you down. yes i'm from lucerne. good luck...

@kc4ril u can't jump from the bridge but ther is a place wher u can swimm. i recomand u to go to the 1000 of rivers many place that u can make eavy jump like up to 7 10 meters

Luzern is awesome!!!!I visited that town during july 2007 and i have to say that it is such a classic town!!!!Loved it!!!But i couln't even try a swiss chocolate :((((It was sooooo expensive!

haha... that's funny... i live in lucerne and you say chocolate is expensive? well, didn't you travel with the train? from lucerne to berne and back, 2nd class for adults is about 40-60 francs... that's expensive.. you can get chocolate for 0.55 francs in some shops..

i dont know about lucerne but i tried to buy just a little piece of chocolate in interlaken and it was quite expensive....that may be cause i m used to euro!

i stayed in switzerland while i was on a mini "tour" around europe in 2007 july....i stayed in your capital Berne and i visited Berne,Interlaken,Lucerne and some small villages!!!God i loved the peace and quiet of your country!

well, if you want to visit switzerland again, then visite a village called "sursee".. this is where i live, it's awesome.. yeah it's quite peaceful here.. i love that..but berne? that's not good, hooligans and skins everywhere ;)

nonononoonono i loved Berne so much!!!It was so peaceful although it is the capital!!!I visited also Paris and Monte Carlo and they cannot be compared in quiet to Berne...
