And since music is a thing (not a living creature) you can't be proud of a 'non-living thing-object'. Music can't influence people so they can be proud of music or not. You can be proud of creator of the song, but not proud of the written notes or the melody you hear.

You can be proud of a man who was driving the car, of a man who has written the article, or of a man who made the call. But you can't be proud of music even if it changes your life. It illogical to say that. You can listen to music, but you can't be proud of it "because it sounds good/bad or somehow else"
