May i ask? what is the difference between Erhu and javanese Rebab? I find it very similiar in physical form..

@edhaje actually the diference between Erhu and Rebab is :

1)Erhu has a brighter tone while Rebab is mellower

2)The bow of the Erhu is attached together with the strings while Rebab's bow is seperated from the strings.

3) The erhu has a hexagon ( or octagon) sound box but Rebab has a ( i wonder what's that shape ) sound box
