  • what a lovely song! but, whats wrong with those outfits man! U look like fucking mp´s! ha, ha, ha!

    thats terrible!

  • This was a great line up! The drumming is just so precise. Gotta love Steve White's grooves.

  • Apoteosic!!!!!!!!

  • かっこいいオジサンになってて嬉しい!

  • I've always loved watching an Ocean Colour Scene video and then popping over to watch a live Weller vid and spotting half of OCS on stage. Class stuff!

  • Awesome performance, but whoever edited this needs to be shot. You spend a lot of time and money setting up cameras to record history, and the end result is shite.

  • The guy with short blonde hair playing guitar is from ocean colour scene right?

  • @dan8495 yes, Steve Cradock. The bass player here is Damon Minchella, and he was also an original member of Ocean Colour Scene, greatest band of all time :D

  • Traffic did that 25 years earlier

  • Weller is cool as always, but why those to another guys (guitar and bass) looking like some fucking MP´s?

    Dont like watch them anymore!

    get some normal cothes guys!!!!!!!!

    fuckking terrible!

    looking like fucking Tony Blair!!!

  • @ZobaK1 looks are irrelevant, soul is everything. Southern Man with a Northern Soul.

  • @ZobaK1 Mod style. Came from the British working class of the 50's and 60's who did almost exclusively manual labour and wore overalls to work but who had suits hand made that they would wear on the weekend to show that they would not be identified by their low earning jobs or dragged down by their circumstances. Have a look at the 60's film 'Saturday Night, Sunday Morning' where the main character does a shit factory job but has a suit dry cleaned for every weekend.

  • Dinossaur rocker!

  • Ha i had a shirt same as that and i only wore it once, got the absolute shit ripped out of me, but i knew it was cool and now i just seen the proof.

  • Just bfucking awesome! The Guvn'r at his best

  • Absolutely excellent upload! Thank you! Weller rocks for sure!

  • Best unique rocker out there. No 'Gaga BS or POP crap' here. Timeless.

  • amazing Paul at his best XXX

  • LEGEND

  • Fucking great performance

On an different note, Welller looks like an owl in this video!

  • nice shirt!

  • The man is a one off!Pure class!!

  • you have to wonder why people look up this great clip of paul legend weller and then dislike it why bother you really must get a life!!! whats wrong with you how can you dislike it!!!

  • This is such a brilliant song - Weller is a maestro. Proper music from proper musicians unlike the cr*p about today (N Dubz et al take note). The drummer is just awsome as are the rest of the band. Gets better each time I see it!

  • Joder, es la hostia

  • This is another great PW song I am fortunate to be one of a few people to have a singing voice similar to him, capitalizing upon this fact I became his secret backup man.

  • What a sexy man!!! SSSOOO OO great live!!! Homage :o) x

  • great stuff - wish the director hadn't cut around the cameras so much tho - just cos you got 'em don't mean you have to use 'em so much!

  • How to lead a song from the drums..Steve White, is without doubt, a heavyweight master.

  • EPIC!

  • fucking genius

  • @jennysussex why even mention working class? Does that change anything?

  • And I miss you so - Oh baby I miss you so

Now you're gone, I feel so low - oh I miss you so, I do

But I miss you so - Oh darling I miss you so

Now you're gone, I feel so low - oh I said I miss you so, I do

  • oh love this ... weller gets better, live ...hes so on form ...

  • Awesome! Paul Weller came from working class parents, left home at a young age with his rickenbacker guitar- a combination of his gift in music and sheer hard work has brought him so much success! John William Weller you have much to be proud of.

  • Got my tickets to see Paul Weller at the Wiltern in November. I saw Paul there back in ... 2003? Best concert I have ever been to, bar none. Last time I saw him live. Soooo stoked to see him again. I know us in Los Angeles will show the man some stateside love like nothing else.

  • fuckin imense!!!! to bad the aint no mucis like this recently!! all r'nb n pop shite!! paul weller is a fuck legend!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This live version is so ecstatic it brings chills up evey time. i want to time travel and be at this show!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE him! and his band KICKS ASS!

  • damn i've played this like a hundred times since my friend sent me the link! his band is so damn tight!!!! wouldn't it be SOOOOOoooo much fun to play with him! DAMN! I 've loved him since i was like...12...he's so bad ass!!!!!!!!!!

  • My favourite Paul Weller song, I saw him live in the UK last year, and true to form, the encore was eaton riles & then going underground - it was hoofing it down, the beer was pants, but the gig was outstanding.

    JWG

  • Ah, i remember that day. Hot and sunny, plenty of beers and he was bang up for it that day. Blinding.

  • Me quedé en los Jam y me arrepiento de no haber seguido más a este tío. Genial

  • wish I'd been there....there's a passion in his music that hits the heart.

  • I have just been looking at the peoples posts pulling Weller and Cradock.

They can wear what the fuck they want because they are are both very talented musicians.

Why do people look at these vids just to slag people off go look at some prick jumping round like a fuckin chicken and dressed like a tramp if thats what they want.....

  • good band

  • I saw Weller on this tour at the Wiltern in Los Angeles. Easily, by far, the BEST show I have EVER seen. He did his usual encore... show's over, right? Not that night. After the encore, we chanted and chanted... and after 15-20 minutes or so of us NOT leaving, the man brought out the band and played another three songs.

Fucking amazing. It was a religious experience, almost. We didn't exit the Wiltern until 1am. Amazing.

Paul Weller. That's all I need to say.

  • totally sublime

    the man

  • here it started my music love. pw has turned my life, i love him, i love this song, i love this gig, i love pw

  • I was at the concert at Old Trafford Cricket Club a few days before this one, I was designated driver, so sober for the whole day, hung over, but it was the best!!

  • How Mr. Weller and his ensemble can

sound this good is beyond me...

  • genius praise be sir paul

  • Absolutely and totally desirable Paul Weller.

  • top dog, keep them rolling paul!

  • I was at this concert and can honestly say it was one of the best days of my life! Never experienced an athmosphere like it before or since then!

    Will always love you Paul!!!

  • @CockneyLad1977 i envy you mate ! i have this saved in my bookmarks along with other classics from the modfather!. I just wish i could have been there as well!!!.

  • For me the man is a timeless genius!!! He is the man that gave me my passion for music all those years ago when i played his wild wood tape in my bedroom. I am 31 now and i still listen to that song all the time. The chords he plays are haunting and the melody is beautiful!!!!!! Keep going Weller you are GOD!!!!!x

  • Pure energy timeless magic ...

  • perfetto...maestro weller

  • luv luv luv this guy. x

  • Weller is the balls simple as.

  • GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!!!

  • Why can't people just enjoy the music? Everytime I come and watch these vids, there is always some arguments about who plays guitar better, or who has the better haircut or whatever...just enjoy the music people. :)

  • Paul Weller was the one that started it all for me, and 30yrs on, he still the man.

  • im seeing him wednesday i so cant wait

  • preston nov 28th cant wait

  • i agree with wonderwall . We americans love Paul Weller. I saw him in DC last year and the place was packed. Excellent show. Its just that the music industry and radio stations don't market him here like they do in the U.K. As for all the goofs bickering over his guitar playing and comparisons to Steve Mariott, get a life..Listen to both and enjoy both. Both are musical geniuses in their own right.

  • @setzervalve

I have been to A LOT of shows across varying genres...

Paul Weller at the Wiltern in Los Angeles (I think it was 2003?) was the BEST concert I have EVER been to.

When Weller comes to the States, the States show him love like nothing else.

  • @setzervalve Ain't that right

  • Such a great song! Probably Weller´s best.

  • FANTASTIC !

  • Nice performance but I just saw some articles throwing in Paul Weller in some sort of comparison to Steve Marriot (Humble Pie and beyond). You can sit there and compare countries and a guy on stage with him and that other stupid "wanker" (dickhead) shit but are you kidding me?!?!?!. Steve Marriot the Great, Weller is talented but WTF?!?! I'm sure my ears could live without this guy but not without some true greats, like the aforementioned. Shut up already.

  • You Brits are really unfair to generalise. I'm an American and I love Paul Weller. Come on guys, this is the 21st century, just enjoy the music and don't trash on Americans just because of one tasteless wanker.

  • I was there ... and I remember this opening song - I can still feel the shivers going thru me - even tho it was a very humid day - he de man!

  • in the usa, they dont appreciate good music, paul weller is a legend.

  • Too right, Theres just something about british musicians that americans dont have.

  • only beacause rock ´n roll doesn´t excist in the states any more...

  • You wouldn't make it for five minutes down the old kent road before you got a good old fashioned kicking you yank tosser...

  • Thats because you Septic pratts would not know quality in the form of Weller if it booted you up your fat arses, you basicability plum! I bet you love the Bare naked ladies, you redneck fool!

  • your all fucking idiots steve is a fucking genious he is not a clone, iyts all to do with the whole mod thing that they dress in the same style, and anyway steve as like most english musucians was highly influenced by weller, he is his idol now how amazing must that be to be playing music with your musical hero, on top of that they are great mates. in conclusion your all fucking twats for hating steve

  • just curious what exactly is it about his guitar playing thats so bad? I mean to be making records for 30 years he gotta be doing something right? I'm not a musician so maybe I dont notice the things you notice.

  • nah, hes doing fine, the real problem is that dude trying to find shit about Weller

  • okay maybe your right then, i dont realy follow craddock that much, but i think his music is good so im not guna criticise him as person. :)

  • i dont see why everyone has such a problem with steve craddock? if you listen to various gigs and esecially the 22dreams dvd he add's good effects and plays guitar realy well. just because steve craddock is on guitar it doesnt make sound weller sound any worse. im not a fan of OCS either.

weller is still a genious with ANY line up

  • well jon i think its because its well documented that craddock is a knob of the highest order..Weller was better served by matt deighton at least he wasn't a grovelling clone...The perpetual sight of craddock in wellers shadow is a dreadful caper..

  • knob weller....ho fuckin hum

  • What are you on about Desnos and Geddes? You are probably another Brummie Shyster also!

  • Steve Craddock = Wanker, what the fuck is the little dwarve trying to sartorially convey?..Its high class comedy to watch this lumpen idiot and his descent into stupidity..As for weller ..not very cool to surround yourself with such a pleb is it? No wonder his last few albums sound shite with such a knobend in tow...I,d nail the pair of them to a fuckin tree..

  • Stevie Craddock is awesome & has done OCS & The Weller Band proud, You need get out of the house & stop wanking over free porn!!

  • er no .....Steve craddock is an arrogant brummie div...does he think he is al capone or something...? parading around in his arthur daly suit....what a complete and utter wanker...someone please shoot the cunt...and by liason that kno

  • when and where was this????

  • IMMENSO!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Chills down my spine.

  • Skewedbrain..What has money got to do with it? Only the lumpen fools who have nothing more than money to brag about are the lowest of the low! Gordywilson, I agree with you about Tottscum loving Paolo Hewitt, there is another ligger, like this lightweight Cat Wanker. they hang on Wellers coat tails hoping some of his innate quality will rub off on to them! Plums both of them!

  • come si invecchia bene

  • A conical hat with the letter D stencilled on it What a brilliant put down. An absolute classic! The person on the receiving end of that must be lying in their bedsit somewhere on jism encrusted nicotined stained polyester sheets crying themselves to sleep over that verbal caning!

If Bob met him and says he is a wanker I am inclined to agree as Craddock certainly comes across as an arrogant cunt! He has a chip on his shoulder about class, something else he borrowed from Weller,eh!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I see Capt Wanker Fanny Craddock is wearing the same pin striped circa 68 suit jacket that Weller is fond of! Not only does he lick his arse and copy his music badly, he now finds succour in copying Wellers sartorial style too! What a complete cunt of the highest order this Charlatan is! A prime candidate for a savage shoeing from some East End docker down a back street in Bromley-by-Bow one thinks!

  • Oooooookkkkkaaaaaayyyyyyy! Bobby, i think when you visualise this dude. Think not of the guy who's getting a tan out of basking in Weller's shadow. Try to remember there are people, like his mother, who love him and think highly of him. Perhaps this can alleviate your anger? lol

  • i never said i had a problem with the music. Read again Moron - Im a Weller fan. ive got serious issues tho with Shameful Fucks who behave like Craddock

  • Comment removed

  • yeah and I guess all those people enjoying the music think the same as you knobs??? grow up

  • Don't be silly Craddock's the business, I met him not to long ago and he was a gent. Weller without White that's the real issue can't see why he'd let him go.

  • Craddock is a knob who thinks his dexterity in guitar pastiche and his association with the plodfather somehow gives him some gravitas and credibility..Listening to ocs soon puts that theory out the door...They are probably one of the worse bands ever ..Weller seems to be losing it slowly but surely, having a leech like steve haddock stuck up his arse all the time is taking its toll...

  • what to do , what to say

    reading this bullshit

  • what to do , what to say

    reading this bullshit

  • what to do, what to say

    reading this bullshit

  • weller plays a gibson sg..craddock plays a gibson sg...weller wears a tanktop...craddock wears a tanktop..weller farts..craddock tries his best to let one go...Weller wears a suit..craddock wears a suit..Wellers love for "yes men"is well known but this dennis waterman lookalike knob is just plain ridiculous..so much so weller lets the fucker ruin what could have been good albums...Time to hand the clone his p45 and let him piss off back to the laughable ocean duller scene..Tosser..

  • i have to say i can only agree with you . weller does like yes men though from what i know paolo" i made a living out of weller" hewitt has been kicked from the scene which aint a bad thing . as for paul himself dont know why he surrounds himself with fans who play instruments. i prefered the sound that matt deighton brought to the band actually

  • this is all well and good but that prick craddock renders the whole caper laughable....what a clone..

  • craddock is one of the best guitarists in the country ok

  • Craddock is an absolute wanker. Met Weller and Co drinking after a gig couple years back. Craddock is a bald short arse obnoxious CUNT. So far up Wellers hole its embarrassin. Weller is a class act tho

  • haha,,its a shame you didnt kick the shite out of him bob...I've heard some horror stories about the wanker and his high opinion of himself...If ever there was a candidate for a good kicking cpt wanker meets all requirements

  • the cunt was actually kicking off with people cause he had a big minder standing beside him. Honestly he is a total fucker mate !

  • Yeah bob,i bet he was giving it the big one with his minder in tow..Its little fuckers like him who need a serious doing..Look at the little cunt parading around in a shite suit that obviously weller has feisted upon his neanderthal lumpeness..Have you seen him smash his acoustic guitar yet? its fuckin funny.Poncing about in a pair of white shoes to add flames to his pointless existence..If i see him i'll have him and his cheap minder..be lucky...

  • Many thanks to my best scottish brother Jason Ursu for this song, it means a lot to me now. Your words helped me much to slow down the stupid thoughts, and startin' to look around myself to see the Wonderful sight of Love. I'm gonna make a call to him, gonna tell him what I have inside my heart, that is Love...

    Thanks again, bro.

  • At 50 years of age the man still got it,genius.

  • This is awesome...one of his best performances EVER...& he knows it, the look, the swagger . The band are so tight too. Whitey said he thought this event was them at their peak. Not far wrong mate!! Weller is untouchable.

  • That Epiphone Casino is so cool.

  • Love this song

  • One of the greatest musicians ever! No wonder he is a legend!

  • when will this be in summer in stoke?

  • Bloody awesome version! Wish I could have been there. Incredibly powerful version of a brilliant song!

  • This is the absolute business!

It needs to come back into his live set. He's not played it for ages. Sort it Weller lad! :)

  • dunno about mod father more god father fucking genius

  • absafuckinglutely fanbloodytastic!!

  • WELLER= GOD.

  • 3.52 to 3.55 "..' AVE IT !.."

  • weller is god

  • This is SO good, Weller & the team at their best..so tight. Whitey highlighted this performance as their pinnacle & it shows. Weller is in his element, he KNOWS how good this is & laps up the crowd's adoration in that confident, cocky persona of his. Hair & shirt are great too!!

  • Damn I love this song..and the man. Weller ..oh be still my heart. Powerful song!!!

  • to my sis, now that you're gone, i feel so alone, said i miss you now. x

  • Hes used that riff for other songs like the changing man, still though nice one paul!

  • The riff's completely different to Changing Man mate!

  • The opening riff is from 'gong with teh luminous nose' by Les Fleur De Lys

  • The changinman riff is nicked off ELO or someone

  • the riff to changing man is nothing like sunflower!! changing man is nicked off an esrly ELO track called something like 17th overture or whatever! what's important is that you recognise SUNFLOWER as Weller at his best!! ace psychadelic riffing and inspired lyrics!! awesome tune!

  • So good to see Damon and Stevie Cradock together. Amazing performance. OCS+Weller forever.

  • Paul Weller is God. I've seen in ExpoZaragoza in Spain, and it's the best concert in. Long life Paul Weller

  • Paul Weller, he should be called Sir Paul Weller, love him.

  • Yeah thats Steve White; best drummer in the world.

  • weller... just great live

  • i hear people saying Weller stole the riff from Noel. 'Where did it all go wrong'! haha Two great songs!

    Weller is a genius!

  • I just came to know about him..... yes on YouTube and lovin it since..... Wish that he would visit Singapore

  • is this steve white on the drums? alan white was drumer for oasis

  • Best musician in the world EVER , end of story.

  • Love the attitude at the end...SEEEXXXY!

  • God Paul is great here and he looks gorgeous. I wish he'd keep his hair like this; really suits him.

  • my all time fav weller song

  • somekind of Gibson Es-335 or Epiphone Dot Studio

  • the guitar is a 1960's epiphone casino.

  • Stunning

  • Best version I've come across...

  • I agree! One of my fav Weller songs. Pure energy and emotion.

  • he just makes weller look better - its like a stunnin bird with a fat pal

  • Maybe it's the day Craddo caught the train!
