  • wait a minute here... I just saw a video of some guys using these and you have to blow into the dam thing too? This instrument seems almost like alien technology lol

  • @EvilSkeltos I think the mouthpiece is optional... you can blow into it to make sound, but you can also just press the buttons.

  • Sounds "Flight of the Bumblebee'ish". You are a master of expression in your music, and I can't wait until you master all the expression options this contraption offers!

Are you going to use the Eigenharp the next DT album, Jordan?

  • theres a whole slew of things he needs to use on the next album :P Especially the arpejji!

  • lovin the "lost my mind face" at the end.

helps me get through the day

    ALL HAIL THE WIZARD

  • Another regular day in your amazing life Jordan :)

  • Rearranged notes, easy for whole-tone. You sly dog, Jordan...

  • Actually not! I have it in chromatic mode!

On the EH in chromatic mode the interval is a major 3rd from one row to the next. To explain... On a guitar for example, the low string is E and the string above is the A string. That is a perfect fourth. On the EH the same type of relationship from one row to the next when in chromatic mode(there are no strings!) is always a major 3rd. Wow.... Learning to describe whats going on here!!

  • sir u are such an inspiration u are great I hope someday i share an scenario with you

  • @JCRUDESS Haha, yeah, I was thinking of a guitar too much, which I play. I learn really easily by teaching too! So you customized it to Major 3rds? Like G to B strings on the guitar? That's one way to make whole-tone an easy task, for guitar that is...

Wish I had an EH right now... hahaha

  • @JCRUDESS wow and what a description Jordan!!! keep making this videos!!! =D

  • @JCRUDESS Thank you Jordan, I've been trying to figure out how the standard E tuning cam about for guitar.

  • i envision a future filled with several incredibly epic live duels with petrucci using this instrument

  • Amazing haha :) where can you pick up one of these things?

  • As good as usual Jordan :)
