The cobra is NOT stock in this video. At the time of this video I had a custom Predator Tune, Magnaflow Catback, catted Spintech x pipe, 14lbs of boost and a Cold Air Intake. The car made 470HP and was a blast. Now it makes 604hp/630tq thanks to a better tune and a Whipple at 17lbs. It's a rocket now... never took it on the autobahn with a GPS again... but rest assured it has gone faster than it did in this video.

i think the car is stock i sould smoke this in my turbo stroker 98 stang but the reason why he hit 178 in a stock 4.6 factory supercharged is because the t56 tremec has a real long 6th gear and and he probably dont have 410's or 373's hes gota have small stock rear gear ratio so yeah 390 hp and the right gears and a 6 speed u cant hit 178 nice top speed video tho

Negative, at 175 the winddrag is probably a monster. So 15 MPG at 2500 @ 75 is probably more like 7-8 at 170.

@ btman2- but at 178 even in 6 gear which i think is the highest for cobra (correct me if im wrong) the rpms are still pretty close to redline.

You can run nearly 155 in a stock 99-04 GT...the cobra has the addition of 6th so it's probably a good guess.

@cruerocker2008 wow your a fucking idiot that obviously does not know what he is talking about....a saleen s281 e has a 2v 4.6 with a built bottom end and a saleen series iv supercharger which is a eaton m90...now a 03-04 cobra also has a built bottom end with a eaton m112 and its a 4v....you can get soooo much more power out of a cobra and i highly doubt you dad hit 200 mph just cause the speedo says that...it doesnt mean it can hit it
