I've just brought a k6 I'm picking it up at the end of feb can't wait to ride it the last bike I had was a SRAD do really looking forward to the upgrade can't wait till end of feb :)
RCSV is semi right, it's more like 5-10%. And max speed for the gsxr 1000 same year is 180 in 6th so 170 in 5th is a little bit off. I have the k6 gsxr 1000
The main difference with the 600 and 750 is the torque. I have owned a 600 and now I have the 750 (k6) and it is much better all round bike. Lots of easily manageable power. If you are looking for a first pocket rocket I recommend the 600. If you ever go to a track it is an easy bike to ride there. Hope this helps.
racr4lyfe: my opinion is a mix of both rambro and ripar. i agree in that that off the line, acceleration for the 750 is very similar to the 600 until you hit mid rpms; however, the difference you experience when you hit the mid rpms is very significant, esp. in terms of torque. as much, i recommend getting the 750. the handling is very similar (a little heavier and requires a little more weight in for turns) but nonetheless, you will eventually want more torque from a 600, as is all gsxr600s.
racr4lyfe: both are almost as equally maneuverable but as i mentioned, because the 750 has a little more weight it will feel a little more top heavy than the 600 but it isnt too bad. IMO, i like the extra weight during turns and midrange kick so i would go with 750 --- I regret getting a 600 so i bought an r1 but thinking about it, 750 is the best balance all around.
if you know what my family do, you wouldnt even get on the same page i get on, get near me, i will make sure you dont see another sunrise. i guess what i said hurts your soft spot that you dont know shit about bikes. all i see is you cursing about shits totally irrelevant to bikes, if you wanna diss me, say something that i dont know about bikes, unless you dont have any. so come meet me..
come meet me, i would love to see that, i will end your life and your family's. trying to be tough hahaha i will show you whats tough. do you need my address too? if you dont have the money to fly here, i will manage something to pay a visit to you and your wife. and her body parts hahaha looking forwards to seeing you son.
agree, yamaha focuses on track while suzuki is leaning more towards street like honda. for ordinary ppl like us, honda and suzuki are more suitable and comfortable, at the same time, on the street yamaha cant shine as it supposed to be on track cuz of the road conditions.
someone with a brain on this site? ill be damned! its about time! lol. kawi leans for the track too if im not mistaken. im not much of a kawi guy mahself tho. either way they all kick ass it just depends on what people like i guess.
you are fucking retarded, i guess you just start liking bikes pretty recently, study some more before you start dissing other people. even my girlfriend knows all of them kick ass, but thats not gonna help. yamaha are prone to be the track bike, and honda and suzuki are focused more on street. i would recommend you to read some sport rider for starters. if you are still think there are no difference between those 4 brands, then you obviously dont ride bike or know bikes for that matter.
listen u little cocksucker. i have been riding longer than you have been alive. but by the sounds of things you already knew that. own a yamaha. i would love to meet u
why do little faggot ass niggers like you always like to start shit over the internet anyway? have fun being a piece of shit for the rest of ur life and have fun when u catch ur girlfriend fucking leroy
man what are U saying? k2 better looking than a k6 and k7?
lol...it is a nice looking bike but it doesn't posses the kinda styling that make u drool over it and stand in awe of it's beautiful lines and sharp edges like the k6s. that huge tank doesn't help either.
people have different tastes. the world will go on.
i had a 2000 750 the first yr they came fuel injected, well i had a full exhaust(m4) sprocket kit and thats it! my buddy on his 2004 r1 could not loose me haha
yeah you,ll fit it but ur back will get bit soar, not that theres much else that would b that better, i,m 5,9 an the gixxer 6 feels small to me, my mate i ride with is 6,9, he dwarfs a zx12
I have owned and raced the GSXR for years, I was VERY lucky to have bought 2 new 1985 GSXRs in Canada and brought them to San Diego. I had a 2 1987 which I raced for 2 yrs, I currently have a 06 20th Anniverssary edition here in the states..
Dude I should know what year my bike is, its a 06 maybe in other markets other then the US its a 05 but here in the USA its a 06 Model.. Check the web
the first gsxr750 came out in 1985, the 20th anniversary model was brought out in 2005 to celebrate its 20th anniversary.. i bought one in 2005 in anniversary colours...
WOW, you dont get it. YEs in every other market the GSRX came out in 1985, I had 2 of them, I went to Canada and bought them. But here in USA, the GSXR was not released by Suzuki until Aug of 1985 as a 1986 Model, so here in the US the 20th anniversary model is a 2006 model. If that too hard to understand ??
lol must be a 21st anniversary edition,me thinks he's wrong aswell. Why the fuck would America be a year behind?Admit your wrong sr3m,Anyway gixers rule!
OK you guys, just finished running in my 07. This bike if by far the best thing I have EVER ridden, balance is absolutely perfect, drives around the twistys like glue, but the best part in on the motorways, at high speeds she is poised and so so stable, I am in love. No reccomendations for any other bike but this latest Suzuki's incarnation of Satan on wheels :-))
I`ll give you a tip.If you buy a GSXR750 and use it to do a 40 mile round trip to work 6 days in a row,it needs a hell of a lot of looking after.Anything less than 7000 revs and its not interested which in London traffic is difficult to achieve.Purely a race bike.Never happier than being thrashed senseless. For those rare days when its sunny and the roads are empty its 100% worth the effort.Extremely quick and handles like a dream.Screams like a banshee at 10000 revs plus.
Honestly, the difference between a K1 through K4 and K7 is much smaller than the difference, any rider will make. I have a K4, 70.000 km of driving experience and its awesome - the thrust and handling close to intimidating...
from what i can tell there isn't too much difference, granted I have ridden the '06 but as far as design and such they are the same chassis, engine, fairings, visually only difference I can note is the HID light on the 07,
Picking my 2007 gsxr 750 up from the showroom in 10 days and the waiting is killing me. I just love this bike, 30 seconds into the test ride and i was hooked, power is awesome and the midrange is worlds apart from any 600 out there. Sticks like glue and does exactly what you want. Would recommend this bike to anyone:-)
im thinkin about gettin one but i kno ill get too happy and pull like 180 miles on highway lol and im wondering if its hard to ride one send me message
nah man, these things can be flicked like nobody's business. Very easy ride especially with the slippery clutch and balance of the bike. Great beginner bike from 2006+

Hmm... what's the better bike in general, the GSX-R600 or this, the GSX-R750? Acceleration, handling, top speed, weight and comfort?
Racr4Lyfe 3 years ago
pretty much the same....acceleration the 750 has a lot more in the midrange and a higher top end

The R1 is a bike for people that are experienced. The GSXR is more forgiving than the R1.
