  • Five years on, and this video still shows the state perfectly. And I love the music too!!

  • top place i go fishing there from Adelaide constantly im a lucky guy as a few major lure makers fly me up every second month to test gear out

if you havent been to tassie do it you wont regret it

  • Lovely place. Went there last year and swam about 20 metres away from dolphins at Wineglass bay.

  • Awesome video and guitar playing!!

  • Hey nice picken there Spike, I lived in Lonny for eighteen months but I'm a mainlander by birth, I used to visit Mt Barrow often and loved the high country in spring. Didnt get over to the west coast but there is still time, Made a couple of very nice friends. Thanks for that Mal. Marytoo

  • Can you upload trhis HQ?

  • i want to go so bad.. one day i will go. whats the language overthere?

  • I am from Venezuela & my 1st boyfriend, Don Easton, was an Australian; if we had gotten married 35 years ago we might have ended in Tasmania, this beautiful land. Thank you Don for being the way you were; I wish I had been more mature & focused

  • i was on holyday with my dad in tasmania when i was 6 years old now im 18 and i would never forget this amazing time. Tassi I love you!

  • the guitarist is sidney witherspoon , a relation of the famous peoples champion derek the brave , a legend from killkenny who singlehandedly battled the germans at constantinople in 1683....why do you love him?would you lie to hold him close?

  • @dpostmaa I live in Tasmania aswell, and yeah....it actually is like this lol...

  • @SamTheTwoCan I think most like me are referring mainly to the music, I've seen Tassie and was dissapointed, nothing bad but not what I had read and heard, maybe my expectations were too high, or just had not seen the right places, I don't know if you have ever seen the promo on Tassie we get here in Victoria but Dean with his music and video running leaves the promo for dead.

  • Fantastic, I know this is old now, I'm so pleased to have found it, I'm amazed the Tasmanian Gov/ Tourist dept has not jumped at this, it would leave for dead that stupid promo they're currently doing which doesn't really sell Tassie at all, it runs along the lines of showing how to relax in Tassie with tea and cake etc etc, well I don't need to go to Tassie for that, I can get it 3 minutes away from where I live this is what they should run for their Tassie Promo.Good Luck Dean. Great music

  • Beautiful video Dean.

Nice peaceful music to go with it.

I think I've been on that beach with the orange stones.

Cant wait to go back again!

  • The Dare Island Enigma is a novel concerning the Tasmanian Globster found in the early sixties see video book trailer

  • I love Tasmania - have been there 4 times and even took my aunt and cousin from the UK.

We hired a car and traveled around and also went to Cradle Mt and Port Arthur

  • cute hills

  • I'm visiting Tasmania in February. After watching this video, I'm even more excited!

  • It just makes me want to go back

  • I've got to get down there one of these days. Looks like a real beautiful place, and my kind of land.

If Tasmanians know what's good for them, they will break away from Australia, the U.N, free trade, the world bank, multiculturalism, and become a self sufficient sovereign state. The one world dictatorship is coming and not many places in the world will be left free.

  • A nice video which inspire to visit this beautiful spot.

  • Wonderful video! I hope to go there next year. Thx for sharing!

  • i live here ha and wer full

  • What a beautifull land, Woderfull, Its look like SWAT of Pakistan. Marvalous.

  • I have visited Tassie three times in the last 5 years. I love it, and dream of living there soon. I am driven to fulfil this dream.thanks for a beautiful video

  • i envy you.

  • I'm planning on visiting Australia this year and this beautiful video really makes me want to visit Tasmania while I'm Down Under!

  • Its so weird all these comments saying they want to come here lol

I live here and I wouldnt live any other place but sometimes I take it for granted.

much rather live in tassie than somewhere in sydney.

  • I agree. I grew up in Hobart as a teen and left to come to Sydney when I was 22. Now after 22 years I am so over Sydney it's not even funny. I'm moving back next month and I can't wait. Sure Sydney may be exciting and cosmopolitan etc but what's the point if you pay so much for rent and living expenses that you can't ever enjoy anything it has to offer. Also there is so much pollution and overcrowding. Just has lost it's charm for me.

  • Interesting what you said cause I've lived in Sydney all my life, I'm 34, and I feel that Sydney has been kind of ruined with over development, overcrowding and multiculturalisation. I sure hope they do not stuff Hobart cause I have felt that it is the place I would most like to move to in the country if I ever left Sydney. The look of it makes me think of Oslo.

  • I visit Tasmania 3 years ago, it was fantastic! Now it's good to see this video and remember all what i made there. One day i will come back with my wife and children...

  • What a fantastic presentation! 5 Stars.

  • The best video on Tassie I have seen so far. The music: supportive, not intrusive. The images: not so touristy. I miss the real island though: loggtrucks, clear-felling, red-necks on fragile soil, racing in their 4wd's, smoke in the air and eyes.

The beauty is so much more fragile, whith those aspects taken into the picture!

  • WOW !!! Well I grew up in Perth, Australia, but now live in Vancouver (Canada), and I had no idea Tasmania was so beautiful. I have only seen Perth and Sydney......wow, gotta go to Tasmania one day !!!!

  • beautiful!!! i looks like by me in switzerland, but more peaceful.

    i wanna live there...

  • I feel that way too, and I live in Sydney.

  • Beautiful country mate! So sorry that it still seems so empty in heart without the Native Tasmanian people that once resided within her beautiful countryside....
