I don't know about Sengoku 1 and 2, but 3 was made by Noise Factory, who also made this game. Some of the monsters are even the same...

I played this game and even managed to setup some combos. There is a chinese bootleg, thunder heroes, which is really broken.

cool game and i keep thinking ive seen everything out there and i just keep finding more gems like this one! MAME is very cool no games today can touch the awesomeness of old school arcade games.
i played this a couple of years back at blackpool, what an amazing game! god bless mame and its infinite awesomeness :)
