this was part of a few linked episodes - Nile's ex Maris had killed her lover and they all get caught up in it. Niles then has a "freakout" in Cafe Nervosa and strips because there's too much on him and he wanted to be unencumbered. Not sure what season?(maybe someone else can help?) -its a later season (after Niles and Daphne marry I think?) & btw check out the bike riding episode (S 10?) you will laugh so much your ribs will hurt! Hope this helps.

I don't know the name of the episode, but it's really close to the end of the series, maybe even the final season, and it's the one where Frasier or Niles (I forget which one) steals something from the apartment of an older female neighbor of theirs, and then they have a lot of trouble returning it, in order to avoid being caught.

You should be able to find it by a Google search for "Frasier steals" or "Niles steals."

Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure it was Frasier who stole it.
