  • they all are very pretty

  • OMG How Beautiful. Forgive my ignorance though, could you send me a tutorial on the chevron chain you begin it with? I desperately want to make one of these, but w/o knowing how to do the beginning; I can't start. :( my email to send the tutorial to if you can is: wbrayboy@gmail.com.

  • @redheadedblondemommy No, I can't, but I have tut specifically for the chevron chain. Uh, I can't remember the title, though! lol..I think its just "Chevron Stitch with Fringe," or something like that. An orange and black bracelet with fringe, and I specifically go over the chain. Look for it.

  • Subscribed :)

  • all of your work is so beautiful ...I made this necklace in gold and black seed beads for the chevron base and gold for the stems and branches with black chips and size E6 gold beads..it is very beautiful ...thank you so much I do so enjoy your tutorials ..and it was not that difficult ..thank you for your patience and explanations..You keep the craft alive..Keep sweet

  • @julliana2ify OMG, that sounds gorgeous! Black and gold is infinitely classic. It'll never go out of style.

  • beatiful , beatifull, beatifull.

  • these are gorgeous

  • so sweet of you.......I really-really love all ur tutorials.....thank u so much!!!

  • I know you said that you were crazy for doing this video, but I am sooo happy you did. I do not think it was too complex, you did great. I did pause and go back several times but that is the beauty of this sort of tutorial. I was able to take notes. I finished a necklace, it is gorgeous. I love it. I can't wait to make more. You inspire me. Thank you

  • @Talian1 Awe thanks!

  • Thank you for this. I enjoy your videos.

  • @cherryblossoms868 What I do is tie off the old thread in several places, then tie on a new thread, and work it back into where I left off, tying several half hitch knots along the way.

  • omg lovely necklace!

  • what is considered a link on the chevron necklace? I did a 18 inch chevron but oim confused on whats a link. I did an 1 inch chevron chain not including clasp.

  • @iloveanabel730 A bottom loop is a link.

  • @tsummerlee

thank you so much. I really appreciate all your help. I cant waitt o finish this its gonna be awsome! and its alll becasue of you:-)

  • @tsummerlee

thank you so much. I really appreciate all your help. I cant waitt o finish this its gonna be awsome! and its alll becasue of you:-) Do you mind charing the patter for the colors you used?

  • i love how your chevron chain sparkles. Are thoese silver lined seed beads u used or another typ of seed bead?

  • @iloveanabel730 Yes. Silver lined rose gold, and transparent purple AB.

  • how do you get good pics to show to get people to pick on your videos? The three pics I get to chooese from from any videos I create are always bad!

  • @iloveanabel730 Sometimes its luck, and sometimes I take an actual picture to use for the thumbnail. Taking an actual photograph to use as the thumbnail always works the best, in my opinion. The image was pure luck in this video.

  • I'm glad you did it. I look forward to trying this. It is a beautiful necklace. Is the chevron beading suppose to fit right below your neck or where is it suppose to sit?

  • @danasjewelryetc The nape. The fringe is too heavy to sit any higher.

  • @danasjewelryetc So the Chevron Chain will go around the neck. I didn't see the post for doing the Chevron Chain, don't know if I just over looked it or what. Do you have a video on making it? I love your videos I've learned so much watching them. I'm a fairly new beader, so thank you for doing your videos. Dana

  • I have been watching your videos for weeks while I have been ill, went to the store with my daughter so she could pick out beads for a bead embroidered cuff. I love doing this. Thank you so much for your videos, they have given me something to focus on when I am stressed out. Which is a lot as a single mom. I can't thank you enough for your videos...you are a really sweet funny woman. I wish we could have a cup of tea together and bead. I wish you the best! Marie

  • @MsAriemae Oh, yes! I'd love some tea! :)

  • You're cracking me up! transparency on loosing things in the process & the weather detail "it's really hot"....

  • So glad you found it. I have taken your advise and I love Wildfire and FireLine. So much nicer to work with. Gives my beadwork so much more strength. No more floppy cabs. I have not started the waterfall yet...I will. I'm working on a cuff I started out with peyote then I will embellish the top with a few cabs. First time so it is taking me a while. Have a great day.

  • Hi there, hope u found your beading thread.

  • @debthebeader I did! It was in a little box that my daughter put in my bedroom. Not at all where I would expect to find it! I was so happy! :)

  • I have been waiting for your return and you never disappoint. I love the necklace and already on my way to store for beads! Love it! Love it!

  • So glad you're back! You must have been on vacation, your fingers are all healed. :-)

  • @photoshopmanic I wish I were on vacation! My hands always look better during the summer months. Must be the humid air, or something.

  • woow! very nice!!! kiss from italy!

  • That's so pretty!!! I'm glad you're back at making vids!! :D

  • @fandelesluthiers Me too! :)

  • how long is the string stuff

  • What would you charge for one of these using mats that you used in the vid? How many grams of seed beads does it take? Thanks!

  • @absynith I never know how to answer "what to charge" questions. How you value your time is really up to you (for now, anyway) I mention bead quantities at the beginning of the video.

  • So glad you are back! Hope you have settled in nicely. Looking forward to more of your tutes! <3

  • I love your videos your like the friend I wish I. Had lol you make me laugh

  • Bellissima, complimenti!!!

  • Very beautiful! Thanks for sharing.

  • Stunning! Your necklaces are so beautiful! I'm going to have to try this! I can see so many potential variations. Thank-you for sharing!

  • I'm going too do this with multi colored pearls in diff. shapes and sizes!! It will use up left over pearls and look FABULOUS!! thank you for taking the time too do this for us!

  • Yes, we missed you. Welcome back!!

  • @Synderai Oh good. Thanks! :)

  • That is so beautiful and thanks for doing the tutorial. By the way I live in the UK and fireline costs the earth, so I either use nymo or superlon. Sometimes I can get away with using the wax with nymo and I have no problems.

  • @DFG333 Its expensive here, too, but not super prohibitive, or anything. I wonder why it costs so much there? VAT and Import taxes and stuff, maybe? If you go to the fishing section of the store, you might be able to find a cheaper substitute. Look for something that's thermally bonded and has "zero memory," or very low memory (that has to do with how much the line will stretch.) With the history of fishing in Europe as long as it is, there has to be something comparable.

  • Absolutely fabulous! Thanks for sharing!

  • Thank's for your tutorial. It's beautiful

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • @zuzito933 Thank you! :)

  • This is perfect! thanks for showing us

  • Gorgeous!

  • @tushygalore Thanks!

  • the necklaces are absolutly beautiful, in fact they might look great with a set of earrings to go with it :), as always I'm inspired by your tutorials.

  • @jumpinjacksflash That's a good idea!

  • Lol at mukwah111..... I so understand.... I bead with what I am able to afford, one day I will afford to get the size 11 she is talking about.....hugs....that is to funny...Love it

  • God bless you on showing your work. I have Cherokee and Choctaw in my family blood. I love the fireline, but do you ever use the sanyou< sound it out....lol.... bad speller. It is a waxy thread that is on a big spool.... Happy Beading...God bless

  • Glad you are all settled in ---despite not being able to find your favourite threads/lines. Canada Day was on Friday. Spent the day at my nephews fancy schmancy golf course wedding. Gloriously HOT but so happy for him. Very pretty necklace. How come you don't sell your beadwork at shows anymore? I know--dont tell me-- you got a REAL job right? I can relate........

  • @mukwah1111 The Japanese seed beads I refer to as "beads the size of a fleas testicles" which I can patiently bead with - yet I cannot reseal a pkg of cheese...those zip bags that DONT work ! I could pitch the cheese out the window rather than fool with it. hahah. Anyway, your fave beading wire/thread will show up...it HAS to ! Best of luck

  • @mukwah1111 LOL! (I STILL haven't found the thread! Like 50.00 worth of thread just missing right now, and I'm pissed at myself about it!)

  • @mukwah1111 lol! I wasn't getting a good enough return on my work. Craft shows are A LOT of work, and I didn't have anyone who could consistently help me with them. Plus, my job was really getting in the way because I was so busy at work. Craft shows are a blast, though, and I miss just hanging around other artists all day and talking to nice people. The appreciation from them never gets old. My best customers were other vendors and teenaged girls with a mom wrapped around their finger. :)
