  • Hey aliceandborn,

At 2:31, which one is your stepdad, the firefighter with the helmet or the bald one?

  • Stunning photos, great video. My husband is a Santa Clara firefighter/paramedic and the loss of Dave Eurle was a significantly tragic time. Thanks for posting this.

  • what is your husbands name? i might know him.

never got the chance to meet Dave, but i heard he was such a wonderful man. Correct me if im wrong but he used to teach at Mission college as a EMT instructor.

  • Thanks for asking. Husband's name is Marc Manning. He and Dave went through Santa Clara Fire academy together. Yes, Dave was an EMT instructor (Mission College). Marc has also been a long time EMT instructor at Monterey Peninsula College (we live in Monterey county). Great choice of music, BTW. Which version of Sara McLachlan's "I Will Remember You" is that? Sounds acoustic.

  • was he killed in the line of duty

  • i believe some of the photos of a memorial service was for santa clara city fire fighter dave eurle. he was my emt instructor and a great guy.

  • Craig Allyn Rose is an excellent photographer when it comes to the SJFD and SCFD! Great video!

  • That is a cool video. It is a great reminder of the true brother/sisterhood of the fire service. It is also a reminder that we must do everything in our power to assure firefighter safety and survivability. "No More Firefighter Funerals" should be our mantra. Take care all, and God bless.

  • Anyone know who the girl captain of Truck 3 in San Jose is at 0:24?

  • This is a nice tribute to the courageous men and women who put their life on the line each day to provide emergency service throughout the country.

It was nice to see a video for the local departments.
