me and my friends did this except we soaked it in gasoline, attached it to 3 other cans, and put it in burning charcoal. :D at night time when they exploded all the charcoal popped out and was destroyed into embers and we watched as 100s of embers floated around like stars in the dark void, it was fucking beautiful, and pretty rad lol.
