  • also Samuel the prophet also spoke against Saul which he was required by God to do saying in 1 Sam 13:13 "You acted foolishly, Samuel said. You have not kept the command the LORD your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time." I believe as the true church of Christ we are commanded by God to judge what is right and wrong and address these wrong beliefs when necessary. Do we judge right and wrong according to God's word or according to mans".

  • @mindovrmattr "TOUCH not my annointed" would be defined as not physically harming God's people NOT speaking against them. You can see this portrayed in the life of David when Saul was pursuing him to take his life. David refused to do any harm to God's anointed "Saul" but he did speak against Saul for the sin he committed. 1 Sam 24:12 "May the LORD judge between you and me. And may the LORD avenge the wrongs you have done to me, but my hand will not touch you."

  • i am thankful to the Stockstill family for there commitment to God and stepping out of the religious box and doing oit in the open what many want to do but are afraid of what others will say; God bless you Joel

  • James 1:26 says "If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion is useless."

the spirit of God moves within that place and they arent afraid to have fun in the house of God. theres absolutely nothing wrong with that! how can we call this blasphemy? We cant be so set in a "religious" mindset that church is super serious & deep tht we miss whats really going on. I pray that God continues to move within their ministry.

  • @mindovrmattr So let me get this straight, you want to treat your relationship w/ God and your worship towards Him, as something thats not """serious & deep""""" I guess you would rather the whole world treat Christianity as something """"frivolous and shallow"""""""" Unfortunately that IS how most people treat Christianity and we are left w/ lukewarm believers at best or people who aren't even saved who claim to be Christian.

  • @mindovrmattr chant, rap, growl or scream, but SING), that we must do it with an UNDERSTANDING in order to edify and admonish another in the congregation and in order to be edified and admonished from it, any logical conclusion that first we should first be able to UNDERSTAND what we are singing about, or else, the form of music that brought out in Eph.5:19 and Col.3:16 will lose one of their main purposes which is to edify.

  • @mindovrmattr want to point another verse in 1 Corinthians 14:15, and the whole chapter of 1 Corinthians 14 which was talking about where it says that all things are to be do unto edification of the congregation of believers where it comes to the conclusion in verse 13 where it says "What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also." Thus indicating that when we sing(not

  • @mindovrmattr be of the spirit(or "spiritual"), and not a work or a parade of the flesh, therefore it is clear that Paul in context is teaching us that that music is not made to satisfy our personal desire and preferances and it is also not to be perfomance, entertainment and fleshly, chaoticly, orgasticly and eroticly oriented. But instead to be spiritual, and through this fostering true unity within a doctrinal stand and also edification in the church and because of this I also

  • @mindovrmattr of the flesh and the desires of the mind or anything thats just the opposite of something that is fleshly. For example in Galations 5:16 it says: "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would." And yet since in both Ephesions 5:19 and Colosians 3:16 that out the music is to

  • @mindovrmattr brings about the music that is to be used in the fellowship and the personal and public level of the true Believers which should truly reflect God's glory, beauty, holiness and order, and also should direct men to His holines and His ways(not the worlds). And yet the songs had to be spiritual, "spiritual": which means something that is diametrically oppossed to the flesh or anything that would draw attention from a fleshly parade that would appeal to, or please and satisfy the lust

  • @mindovrmattr can and has created only more problems). But in sence that it adresses what form of music we should be using and the purpose and context of how and why we use it, thus coming to the conclusion that there must be a great signifecance behind those passages, ecspecially when it speaks about the the use of psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. And putting this as a side note, using the criteria that I just went through concerning Colosians 3:16 and Ephesians 5:19 which

  • @mindovrmattr passage is when God says or brings out something two or more times in scripture(in the mouth of two or three witnesses), thus to come to the conclusian that God must be trully making a point in saying a statement several times in the book of Colosians 3 and Ephesians 5 which both are parrallel passages thus giving the indication that the use of psalms, hymns and spiritual songs must be very important, not in a sence that music is to become the emphisise(which

  • mindovrmattr witnesses every word may be established." Now you problebly know and I know that in context of what that verse was talking about the confrontation about a fault between a brother and a another man that has commited a sin, but if that person does not admit to that sin, then bring two or three people with you to confront that person, and if that person don'tacknowledge his fault, then tell it to the church ect, ect... But another way to look ecspecially at this particular

  • mindovrmattr I know from where your coming from might excuse your detriment of the use of psalms, hymns and spiritual songs which is brought in Colosians 3:16 and Ephesians 5:19 which is also hinted at in 1 Corinthians 14:15 and James 5:13 and for this reason I also want to point and bring out the scripture where it says "that in the mouth of two or three

  • mindovrmattr 2 Thessalonians 2:15."Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the TRADITIONS which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle." And also in 2 Thessalonians 3:6 which says: "Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, THAT YE WITHDRAW YOURSELVES FROM EVERY BROTHER THAT WALKETH DISORDERLY, and not after the TRADITIONS which he received of us."

  • mindovrmattr Colossians 3:16-17 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in PSALMS and HYMNS and SPIRITUAL SONGS, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

  • @eph112joephil Are you retarded or Catholic? Look them up in a thesaurus, I promise they're synonyms.

  • come on now, They're having fun! Pastor Joes is amazing! & If u listen to the words, they are not at ALL talking about getting drunk w/ alcohol, but drunk in the SPIRIT. I went to a bethany youth conference years ago & it touched my life profoundly. u can feel the Holy Spirit movin n tht place! its incredible! even if u disagree, the bible says "Touch not my anointed.." it is imperative that we nt put r mouth any of Gods people,it is NOT our place. You curse urself when u do so, so why risk it.

  • 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10

9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders,10 and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

  • @Wpack220 I have to disagree with you. I went to bethany over 4 years and saw very little power of the holy spirit, especially in the leadership. You have confused the work of the holy spirit W/ lying signs and wonders(which the Gods word warns us will happen in end times, 2 Thes. 2:9) The most powerful work the holy spirit can do is to produce holiness NOT an emotional experience, laughing drunkiness and having a good ole time.

  • WoW no wonder we get no respect form other countries, BLASPHEMY

  • He is singing about getting drunk. Wow that just sends messages through the subconscience mind to the already lukewarm christians to further backslide, BUT THIS CHURCH ALLOWS THIS UNHOLINESS to go on all for the sake of their money. More people=more money...holy spiritness flys right out the door.

  • Look everyone, another one of those false mega churches where "anything goes" A bunch of blind sheep being led to their spiritual slaughter.

  • @SecretTruthTeller, don't judge by what you see on the surface. I am not here to argue with you, but if you were to visit Bethany WPC, you would be unable to deny the power of the Holy Spirit at work in each and every member, both in the leadership and in the congregation. Christ be with Bethany and every church that professes the true Gospel of the New Testament Church, and with every person who professes Christ as LORD and Saviour!

  • @wpack220 I know what real spirit american churches have, don't kid yourself. It is far from Holy. Visit middle eastern churches and you will see a major difference. There is so much disorder in this video and mockery. It looks like a watered down church. Ask a true man of God they would agree.

  • This is freaking hilarious. Especially since during the 2009 220 conference, Pastor Daymon was knocking on rap music. Thank you for posting this.
