  • OMG!!!!!! I have the same problem!!!!!!!!

  • 1. dont buy stuff

  • Oh also, social conditioning is excessive in itself. We have to help scrape off all this gross extra icing. Icing totally gives me tummy aches. :-(

  • I think its important to remember to take responsibility! So many people don't. Its like if I have an expensive bracelet I'm going to take care of it because I worked really hard for the money I spent on it, alllllso cause its pretty and I can show it off. lol. But like why don't we take responsibility for our trash....we paid for that......

Responcycling! I love making up new werdz!

  • umm...your a total hottie so i would have to say that you can wear whatever you want. but a general rule of thumb would be that when you're in doubt then you should probably leave it out.

  • personally im a pretty simple person! i do barley any accesorys, maybe a necklace with a plain t-shirt and a tank top under. but other than that, i try not to over do it

again, other people said it all depends on the occasion! i mean personally, i think you looked awesom there in that video, maybe cut down one thing though. still looked cute though.

i guess i didn't really help...haha but i still think you looked fine!

  • i agree with Mstamagic there ain't such a think as too many accessories... but IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE OCCASION...that's what i think

  • There's no such thing as too many accessories, at least if you're Mr. T.

  • people look to you for their political analysis needs? wow.

  • i think that you shouldnt have more than one accessory in the same place - the most would be 2 - braclets are an exception though, depending on the braclet's style. to me quality is better than quantity I wear a few simple nice peices of jewlery, a scarf or somthing and natural or light toned make-up and i think that works fine, but it really depends on what kind of accessories you have on - just dont wear ones that clash (this is MY opinion so it might not be best, just a warning)

  • Hmm... I'm mainly indifferent to accessories.

I'd say that if they're obstructing your freedom of movement, you've probably overdone it.

Short of that, you're probably good.

    I don't know what I'm talking about.

  • Well, I don't know how much use this is coming from a straight guy, lol, but I would say at least limit yourself to accessories that clearly match. I think you can cut the number down if you are strict about that.

For guys, I would say the limit is 3. The most I wear is a watch, a necklace and a bracelet, all brown leather and not too showy.

  • Wow, I haven't seen your videos in such a LONG time! You look good with contacts, although I must admit I was a big fan of the glasses - made you seem more approachable, I guess. Either way, you look great.

As for accessories, I say choose 1 of each type to wear - for instance, 1 thing around your neck, 1 set of earrings, 1 bracelet, etc. The phrase "Keep It Simple, Stupid" or K.I.S.S., comes to mind...at the very least, it will help you figure out what it is you'd REALLY like to wear.

  • clear heels, low cut shirt, hip huggers, belly ring, grow ur hair longer and take some pole dancing lessons and ur good to go, lol

seriously, ya, don't over accessories...too much says too much, makes you appear insecure. Cut back on the neck accessories...here's a gem, if you have more then one piece per body party, then ya, your over accessorizing.

  • hi this aint advice cus im not good at that stuff so sorry.

But jus sayin hi cus ur i think ur super cute n sweet n very smart if i lived in america n mayb near ur area( im from the uk)i would so ask u out. Keep posting ur videos cus they r cool.

PS. being an Obama supporter is a def plus really happy he won.

  • I heard this GREAT True Story; A local business needed to let go some workers. The Boss did not know how to pick who to let go. He goes out to the Co. Paprking lot, and looks for Obama Bumper Stickers and lets the owners of those cars go. He told them, "You all voted for change."

  • I generally use the five point rule. No more than five accessorizing items keeps it classy without overdoing it, which can sometimes be an issue :)

  • Rule #1: Never tell anyone about fight club

Rule #2: Never tell anyone about fight club

Rule #3: There is no such thing as over accessorizing if it has to do with your own personal decision. Do what makes you feel good! If it makes you have that beautiful smile that you always flash in your videos then that is all that matters!

P.S. we took your advice and are using our powers for good! lol!! Hope to hear from you soon!

  • You look great. My personal rule is not to have too much going on round the neck AND earrings. If I were to wear big, dangly earrings, I might forgo a necklace. I love LOTS of bangles.

  • Melissa, Melissa, Melissa. You're a citizen of California, no? So politics is still relevant where you are because there's this proposition 8 dealie, how come you haven't talked about that yet? For, against, whatever I mean it's your opinion, I just kinda wanna sorta know your opinion and I bet I'm not alone in that.

  • I think that if your accessories make too much noise when you move, then wear less.

  • I don't accessorize, I am a dude.

And not to be a Nazi about it, but you mis spelted accessory:P

  • Accessories should be worn. period. My rule is one per body part. You have 3 for neck, although they are different, they are still for neck. I'd say lose the dangly thing at least, as pearls are classy and scarves are warm, at least that way you can give purpose to them.

  • Honestly, just wear whatever you feel like wearing. Unless you're dressing for work and your job involves making a good visual impression on people, it's not at all important that you look good to anyone but yourself.

  • Time for a C.H.A.N.G.E. MJ. Change of subject, that is. Not change of accessories [don't people know how to spell this word?]

See you on your next video.

  • Be individual! wear anything and everything its more fun that way

  • Accessories get in the way when you get distracted from what you are wearing. Accessories tie an outfit together but remember the whole point is so people will see you, not a bunch of scarves and belts. :)

  • "...we can talk about the really important things" LOL, MJ, this is priceless! I love how things rattle when you wave at the camera.

  • when you think you have the right amount, Then probably take of two things (as a general rule)

  • trust me, people arent looking at those accesories, there looking at your beautiful eyes

  • Things around your neck: Keep it simple. Never more than two. A simple necklace and a scarf, or two simple necklaces or one really gaudy one.

Bracelets: One or two really gaudy ones, or lots of really small ones.

    Earings: One per hole.

Belts: Only one. I can't imagine when two might even be necessary.

  • I dont really think its the number of acessories but the size Its fine to have two or three things around your neck as long as theyre about the same length

  • Do you ever watch "What Not To Wear" on TLC? I would just say watch a few episodes and see how the do the bling bling. Those people how how to turn you from trash to treasure. Just do one or two necklaces and a bracelet to compliment them.

  • Girls don't dress like that on the east coast. That's all I have to offer...

  • I think your one of those women who should wear a minimum of accesories. Its like hanging christmas light around the Mona Lisa ...sure theyre bright and colorful but, unnessasry...its beautiful as is.

  • Maybe just cut down to just one or two accessories a day. Then again, I'm not big on accessories because that's really not my thing.

  • AP NEWS: Obama speaks to China, seeking to borrow MORE money. China will give USA more money, "IF" USA does NOT interfere with China's invading and taking over the Democractic society of Tiawan. In the past, USA has told Tiawan that we would protect them, but we will not.

  • I'm surprised you had time to write that vulgar insult in between your required 5 daily prayers to Obama.

  • Got Mormon? All of my LDS friends spew the same nazi and baby-killing crap that you're writing here. Get over it! Obama is not a terrorist, and NOBODY is PRO-abortion...so why don't you get back to your brain-washing prayers.

  • If you start to look like a christmas tree then you know it's time to tone it down! :)

Personnally, I don't like accessories, so thats why I don't wear them!

  • Whatever you like is what you should wear. Period!

  • Great, you look so nice. :)

Yes definitely put on more jewels and sparkly accessories Melissa, maybe an ad exec will see your videos and hire you to do TV work or modeling. :)

There is a real need today in the Hollywood media for young women with a more wholesome, family look. Melissa, you have that much sought-after look of being pretty, smart and family-oriented without being rude, macho or manly. :)

Any Hollywood ad companies watching this video, hire Melissa :)

    Rock on !

  • I think you look good as is. I think choice of accessories depends on the outfit and the look you're going for. You could lose the scarf, dangly necklace and bracelet, and you'd be fine. Pearls have class. Dangly necklace goes first, next to cut would be bracelet or scarf, pearls should be removed last, if at all. Maybe go for a smaller bracelet.

  • I think it was Chloe Chanel who said when you're done accessorizing and getting dressed you should take one item off. =)

  • i hear theres a therapist you can get thats paid for by the government to help you with your problem...

  • where is your Obama pin? How will your fellow nazicrats recognize you without your Obama pin?

  • LOVE the hair.

I would just do the scarf and bracelet. The big chain should be worn alone on the neck but bracelets are acceptable.

Pears = evening unless youre going for an 80's vibe that day IE: Sweater dress, leggings, pointy heels, crimped hair, hoop earings, pearls. FOR SHIZZLE

  • You have a wardrobe like Sarah Palin!

  • 1. Pearls are an evening, semi-formal to formal accessory. During the day? Not since the Madonna fad died.

    2. Scarf OR dangly, not both.

    3. Bracelet OR dangly, not both. Both makes you look like a bondage queen - not that there's anything wrong with that.

  • I think, if you want to wear a lot of accessories, you should focus on one area. For example, you can wear a bunch of necklaces or (a) very bold necklace(s), but the rest of your jewelry should be more subtle. Also, scarves and necklaces seem like a bad combination- the necklace(s) could get caught on the scarf and the scarf seems like enough.

  • I think if you're gonna wear the scarf, you shouldn't wear the big necklace... Cuz I think it should be "One necklace, one scarf" ... I don't think it's appropriate to put multiple necklaces on, unless you pull it off a certain way that really makes sense. And the reason I say to remove the big necklace is cuz the scarf is pretty big already.

I used to have weird attachment issues with jewelry, and I just had to ween myself completely off of it all. I'm much healthier now! ;)

  • You know you've overdone it if--

    1. You walk into a room and everyone hears your accessories clicking and clanking against each other.

    2. You get caught on something --a nail, the edge of a cabinet, a door handle-- when you move in a cluttered dorm room.

    3. You start to drip these things.

One or two large pieces is fine, accentuated by a couple of small ones. Once you start to drip these things you become an occupational hazard. ;)

  • Lose the shackles, you look like an inmate at Alcatraz - SNAP.

  • Lose the Pearls

  • Lose the Chain

  • if you look like Mr T it's too much.

  • The only accessory a woman needs is "fishnet stockings" orrrrr the stockings with the black seem in the back... When are they coming back in fasion???

  • if it feels overdone it might just be. if it feels good go with it =]

  • omfg this chick is doing my head in. Goes to show how many weirdo's there are in the world and look at her fan base..... LOLZ oh wait your all americans go figure..

  • um, cerberuscx you're just talking to yourself.

  • When you have to make a specific youtube video asking this question.....

hah, only kidding, take pride in your uniqueabilityness and let others be flabbergasted by your creativeness:)

  • good adviceness :P

  • it's overdone when you're not naked.

  • If it is the FIRST thing you notice about someone... then they are doing it wrong.

  • 1st if all, i think its "twit," im not sure tho

acessories r 2 much wen theyre the 1st thing sum1 notices about u. like if sum1 asks "wat was the 1st thing u noticed about Melissa" and they say "well, she had 8 kinds of necklaces covered in glitter, a giant hat, and a purse with a little dog in it" then ur over-doing it. the different kinds of necklaces r a no.

Melissa, ur cute, u dont have 2 accessorize!

  • Accessory Rule:

If people can hear you coming, b/c of the clatering of your Accessories, then you have too much on.

  • I like the hair

  • If you have to ask if it's too much, then it's probably too much. But don't stress too much over it; you have this abnormal ability to look good at all times.

  • It is too much when or can't see your neck or arms. I'm a guy but fomr friends experiences i think you should only wear either a scarf or necklaces, mixing looks messy. And you cna almost never have too many bracelets (unless you can't see your arm) so you're okay their. Ttyl Melissa!

  • from friends* (typo sorry!)

  • From a mans point of view, One watch, One necklace, one scarf is plenty. Rings and earings are not limited.

  • Hi

Ware jewelry that compliment your style and just think what suit you when you are choosing the clothes to ware for the day or night like one jewelry to ware like necklace eg. pearls and bracelet like silver or gold to compliment the pearls and the clothes if you are going out at night. Casual just choose something simple like one jewelry on the neck or rist something special like from a family or friends that means something to you that can make you feel good or special

    miike111

  • Rings aren't usually worth it unless you're engaged, a couple bracelets on one arm is good, always only one neck accessory either that or a sort of extravagant scarf with a simple necklace.

  • Just overcome you addiction and cut down on the accessories. The withdrawal might be pretty tough, but you can get through it. We'll be here for you!

  • You should add a Flavour Flav style clock to the chain lol

    (euh, trying to help;)

  • Dripping in sparkly things is fun though...

  • The only accessory I wear is a hat. But I'm a guy so....

  • Less is more. Try one acceossory, or even none. I think that more than one necklace at a time can be tacky. It's better to invest in cute handbags and shoes.

  • when u look like an accesory wookie i think thats taking it to far lol
