I was fairly young to notice how good/bad they were. But this performance is shameful.

Can't even play their own song. WTF ? Lars doesn't hit the bassdrum ONE time correctly.

The guitars don't play the riffs in the proper tempo/feel.

SHAME ON YOU METALLICA. Listen to Dream Theater playing a cover at least EXACTLY how it is on CD.

Performance wise, Metallica were at their best during 1988-1993. And by performance wise, I mean James' voice which in 1989, Seattle, literally sounded better than on the albums themselves, and Lars' drumming. Their worst era, performance wise again, was 2004-2006, and since 2008 they've been giving pretty good performances again.

They are my all-time favourite band without a single doubt. True legends.
