I use walking poppers because they walk but with alot of commotion. Also, I usually twitch it really fast to get them to react, and trust me...... they blow up on it.

Your tip about no swivel at the end of the video is very important here. You failed to mention, but the video showed -if the viewer payed attention- that you were using a heavy gauge solid wire leader, IT MUST BE LONGER THAN THE LURE but just longer, an inch or two to get the right action.

Most important in a walk the dog presentation from a boat is a SHORT rod, pointed straight down at the water, try it and see how your command of the lure improves. You should be working the tip at your toes.

in most of my muskies if they fallow i speed up and that useally goes better then slowing down for me when i slow down they just sumberge and loose interest
