  • and who said communism doesn't work? my God!!!!!

  • this is just eerie.

  • very good video, thank you!

  • Can anyone tell me the name or artist's name of this song please?

I like the song but can't find it anywhere...

  • I think it would be fascinating to visit. The people here need the income from tourism, so I don't consider it bad at all. And this disaster as all who remember when it happened had far reaching consequences. I don't know how many people have died as a result or people born with disabilities but the people close to here are living with the consequences and will do so for a long time.

  • I'd love to go visit; I think the ghost cities are beautiful. The disaster happened when I was only a child; I later read about it in books. Everyone thought that the area around Chernobyl would be dead and grey forever; that nothing would ever grow there. But now, seeing the films depicting all the vegetation and wildlife, that is cause for hope. Perhaps one day, people might be able to live there again.

  • Hóla,por favor me podrías dar el nombre de la cancion y su intérprete.

    Grácias

  • Music is very very good !

  • all young, dont want to live? idiots

  • GET OUT OF HERE, STALKER!

  • It's now 24 years abandoned.

I can remember thinking about Chernobyl on the 23rd anniversary as well as the 24th.

I first learn't about Chernobyl off Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare when Chernobyl had only been abandoned for 22 years then, there's also map on Modern Warfare 2 with the Chernobyl Powerplant.

  • This is video is good.

  • Now its a really nice City

  • stupid tourists don't give a crap about what happend there they're just there so they can go home and brag about how horribble it was and how ghostly it was in chernobyl 500,000 people are liquidators suffering from radiation and it is still there trust me it lasts like 200000 years

  • @F18paperjet exactly I hate that.

  • thanks dude first nice reply i've ever gotten dude

  • id hate that too, i want to go there to see what a once strong city had become, and learn of what happened to the place, and all its history

  • @F18paperjet you know the radiation level in pripyat is very low at this time

If you were to go to the place of the incident the power plant indeed the radiation level is very very high

  • if you are afraid of radiation ore whatever then the safest time to visit chernobyl is on winter because the ground is goverd with snow and the radiation levels are actualy normal to even live there...(ONLY ON WINTER!!)...but ofcorse on summer there is no danger also if you dont visit woods and dont eat anything from that place

  • Is it safe to visit Pripyat? I would like to go but again I am concerned about the levels of radiation. Is it a a health hazard?

  • Mostly nope. Levels of radioation is too low for health hazard.

  • Then why is that area still uninhabited? If the radiation level is too low for health hazard or risk, then why not allow people to resettle there?

  • @SAOrules the radiation isnt low, its still very high, it takes 90 years for the radiation to go away

  • @bbbrotman actully it takes 200 years for it to reach normal levels but its not considered a health risk to be there for a couple hours.

  • @crazywerewolflady ehh just goin off of what my teacher said.

  • @crazywerewolflady ehh it depends.

  • @mouzouki its still a hazard, but not a large one, depending on where u are, and how much radiation is there, also how long youre there its mostly safe, besides the reactor.

  • sometimes when you look at the video, you can see white/silver flashes. This is radiation, and also if the video had no sound you could hear clicking, which is a also radiation.

  • That is no true. Past more than 20 years after disaster radiation level is low in the Pripyat, and on the video has no any flashes. Don't try to make a fear on users.

  • isn't it dangerous to go to such trips ? you will really get alot of radiation on those.

  • Nope. We have some rules, which makes this trips is mostly safe

  • And what is the price of this trip ? if its not a secret ofcourse :)

  • 70$ per 1 person

  • So your just allowed to enter the city, there is like no guards or patrols limiting access? Do you need special permission? Very cool by the way.

  • We conduct only official journeys through Ministry of Extraordinary Situations in Ukraine (In russian МЧС)

  • @davidjalb34776 you can enter as you like, nobody will stop you, there may be a fence, but play it safe and dont touch anything there because radiation will follow you

  • @tranx4868 not really in certain parts you will get more than other parts but not a health hazard

  • @Kardasves123 Wow nice you replied after a whole year... actually i know all the stuff about chernobyl now but nice that u replied anyways...

  • I don't remember what song is this )

  • hello you ! your video is really good.

I have been there 1 year after you and we did not have the luck to get on top of the roof like you did. You are lucky. This place is amazing isnt it ? And spending half a day there is definitely not enough. I would love to stay there for a week, even a month, and walk around everything.

This is fascinating. CPACCIBA for the video.

  • music fits perfectly...what's that for a song?

  • wie blöd mus man sein, da noch freiwillig hinzufahren...

und dann auch noch shcön, wie die japaner-touristen sich verhalten

einfach nur beschämend, peinlich und verantwortungslos!

  • I love chernobyl, I was there on april 21th 2008. I like the block, exspecially it´s chimney. Iam a member of a organisation, who helps people in the area of Gomel in Belarus

  • THX gumtar79.thx for your answere

  • 1:31 is DUGA-2, look for my text below

  • the building at 1:31 it`s so large !!!!! whats the name of the building

  • it is DUGA-2. Type "Russian_Woodpecker" in wikipedia

  • Comment removed

  • TOPMODEL 0:41 :-) i love she

  • das mädchen 0:44 sieht echt geil aus:-)

  • i dont now but good song!!! ;-)sorry

  • Song name ?

  • Yes, track name please.

  • wow, i'st that radioactive, full of radiation

  • at some places not !

  • it is still radioactive but it aint really bad anymore

  • Enyone knows the music from this film? Please!!!!

  • extreme good video

  • This people are stupid. The most of them will probably die before they are 60 years old.

  • Who needs to live older than that, anyways?

  • i'm getting enough money to go there one day

that's one thing i want to do before i die

  • NEVER go even near Pripyat the radioactivity will kill you, eat you away like rust eats an old car

  • then why is the creator of the video still alive?

  • you are clearly foolish, radioactivive poisoning cannot be seen, Strontium90 found near Pripyat kills horribly, 5 years from now or less the effects of radiation will make any "visitor" seriously ill, Even Atomic Experts will not stay at such a place THEY know why!, bye bye fool

  • well then,in that case remember what i've said earlier: that's one thing i want to do before i die...and yes i know radioactive poisoning cannot be seen...thanks for the good luck wish! :P

  • you're american? by the grammar you could be my little sister dumbass. and i'm not italian

  • lmao what a fuck tard

  • You are a fool, there is a thriving tourist trade offering daily trips to Pypriat with no deaths thus far, there is a chance of death but that is completely based on where in the city you go.

  • I know people that have been close to the reactor...you can only stay there a few minutes. They test you after your trip to check what your body has absorbed. I still wouldn't go there, but I hear it's a great experience. Heck, the guy working in the control room during the accident is still alive today!

  • today it's changed to 23 years of emptiness

  • how old do you have to be to go ther?

  • Over 18 years old.

  • -.- dam....

  • to go by ur self or not?? xD

  • The reason is why you need to be 18 years is because otherwise the chance of lucimia (spelling fail, i know :P ) is high.

And they dont want people wandering off :P

  • another reason is because its still radioactive

  • you get blood cancer (leukaemia) from radiation :P

  • Yeh kin

  • Wow, i really want to go there when i get older!

  • I'm also planning a trip to Chernobyl and Pripyat. I think I'll do the film about it "Le Professionnel" style, with Chi-Mai and Le vent, Le cri music and I'll call it "The Professional - Chernobyl and Pripyat".

  • that would be an amazing thing to see professional...truly. i hope you do make it sometime =) i want to go there sometime maybe w/the fiancee. it'd also be nice to work with children from chernobyl or pripyat after i receive my nursing degree...ive already been donating a bit to charities (as much as i can for what i make now)

  • Do you know what i'm going to do on April 25th going into 26th April?

I'm going to stay awake till 1:23am then think about Chernobyl

But infact i'm English, so i'd have to think about the acident at 11:23pm on 25th April because England is 2 hours behind Ukraine

  • I'm gonna whack it.

  • What is the second song on this video?

  • isnt that a radioactive zone?

  • yes it's been radioactive for over 20 years

it's been radioactive for nearly 23 years

not this Thursday but the Thursday after that will be a month away from the day that the nuclear accident happened

  • woow just booked my ticket to kiev, goin to get my t-shirts made up.

How about ''chernobyl isotopes, undefeated since 1986''?? Bit of a homage to springfield isotopes i know.

  • Are special passes needed, or you just show your documents , such as identity cards , etc?

  • Yes, near the ferris Wheel and Bumper Cars at the Park there, there is 70 times the normal amout of radaition. At the Plant there is alot too, I forgot the amount.

  • I heard that Pripyat will not be inhabitable again for another 300 years. Imagine what the developers then will have to level out.

  • looks like such an amazing place

  • how did bandits get in?

  • i'm dying to be there once in my life..

  • i know,im going to chernobyl befor i die!!!!

  • is there still some radiation left?

  • yes, there is a lot of radiation left.

at some places there is over 70 times more radiation than a normal place..

  • Wygląda na to że nikt nie poda mi tego zasranego tytułu...szkoda...:( PLEASE SONG MUSIC !!!

  • kurwa dawac ta jebana piosenke kurwa ile ma kolega nizej sie prosic !!!

  • PLEEASE SONG :( PLEASE !!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry, but i don't remember the singer.

  • What is a Music?

  • We want what you remember... :)

  • nice :]

  • and a couple of villagers

  • Does any one live there?

  • ghosts maybe

  • workers, enginers only people with permision

  • Only employees living in the chernobyl exclusion zone, such as the Chernobyl NPP employees, and the city of Chernobyl.

  • Great music

  • Excellent video! Thank you for posting some new content :)
