guess im just overprotective. i am picking up my first german shepard pup in the morning and was looking at videos here for help on owning one. guess this vid struck me as odd.

i like the part where childs pink shoe misses the concrete under the pool cover and about throws her off her feet. by golly with a little unsupervision and that occurence again"with a not so lucky gain of balance" , we could of seen if the dog has been trained in water rescue.

is part of the "video of dog in training" run across water filled pool cover. how about "sit" "stand" "roll over" while in the middle of the water filled pool cover?

maybe you havent had that heavy rain and the dogs uncut toenail hasnt started that slight rip in the pool cover that grew over time. do you still yet kids run on top of the pool cover as well as the dog. i will try and search for some articles of deaths by pool cover failure and i will post them to here for you. it just didnt strike me as too bright to train a german shepard run across a inground pool cover. though nora, i am still looking for someone that foretells the future.

FANTASTIC TRAINING gee, how about 2 years from now when the dog weighs alot more and you have had a really heavy rain and that pool cover just aint quite as strong as it used to be........ come home from a nice day at school and" mommy wheres the dog"

@oohay32408 its is two years later, the dog weighs 115 pounds and the pool cover is intact. If you want i can post a video of my dog in training for you to see. Thanks for you negative, useless comment.
