Kickboxing is just a watered down Muay Thai( with mild elements of TKD/Karate), with emphasis on Western boxing, best shown by K1 fighters, which allows knees but no elbows ( and sadly no double collar ties either now, how fucking stupid!!!) but definitely Kickboxing is similar to Muay Thai, only because the Dutch made it so. Enough with the stupid babbling already! Old news!
@11215142615 sorry but kick boxing was a karate hybrid created by a japanese karate master by the name of osamu noguichi search if u dont believe me muay thai is just one of many kick boxing styles
@will5125 I don't think so....muay thai is from Thailand and it involves elbow and knee strikes. Kickboxing is just a combination of boxing and kicking. Not saying they aren't similar in some aspects, but I'm pretty sure kickboxing is not a form of muay thai.
