If thermite was used, it would have had to of been place on the perimeter columns . It would have looked like the 4th of July around the entire tower not just one corner where the plane came to rest.

They used thermite to weaken the core, which is why it made the peremiter columns bend a bit because of the extra pressure.
@Xendrius again, the core was still standing after the collapse. It took 30 mins for the perimeter column to bow and snap. I thought termite burned quickly. The antenna did not drop first, that was an optical illusion. Video taken from the other side of the building clearly shows the perimeter columns failing prior to the antenna dropping.

The whole thermite debate is silly. The towers started their collapsed at the point of impact; thermite would have been blasted off the columns or ignited on impact by the planes. Video evidence clearly shows the perimeter columns bowing slowly over a 30 min period and then suddenly snapping. Thermite could not have caused the exterior columns to bow and snap. We know that the point of collapse started with the perimeter columns because the core columns were still standing after the collapse
Why do I have to convince you? I can't do that. We need an investigation that actually looks at the physical evidence. Why weren't explosives tested for? Why hasn't NIST released their computer model of WTC7? Why did they go with the fire hypothesis first, even though its the most unlikely cause of a perfect, free-fall implosion? Why did it take 13 months for Congress to even open an investigation, after most of the evidence was gone? If you can't see the problems here, idk.

@thisguyoverhere1 Thermite bombs are impractical, as they never have been used to destroy a building and it would take 20,000 pounds of thermite to "cut through the beems." Thats not even taking into account that when the heat that does reach the steel column. Specifically, heat will be conducted away to other parts of the structure. Steel isn't a great conductor of heat, but this will happen to some degree. It means more thermite must be added to the mix.

If some other substance is added to the mix, then it may reduce the efficiency of the thermite reaction, again meaning you'd need more. But experimentally crushed drywall in humid conditions will accelerate oxidation at high temperatures. Hell, it might even behave the same way in STP, Gonna go try some right now. There is always sulphur in steel, and many possible corrosive sulfates.

The 'explosion' is due to thermal expansion of the iron, a reaction repeated constantly at a metal shop, when torches are use. The flame is from the paint's vehicle burning, which would leave the paint's pigments, as seen in the scans and the photos of the pigment microspheres. Trouble is, many of the chips found were already exposed to high temperature, so no reaction.

Also ironic is the fact that the application of asbestos was well understood, and its application on wtc steel probably would not have been blown off, preventing the collapses. The only thing that you can dispute here is the origin of the samples he analyzed. The rest is irrelevant.

Mark confirms harrit's findings, and harrit's paper proves paint pigment spheres, not nano thermite. there are no correct stoichiometric properties involved here. All evidence I have seen showns the amount of aluminum severly lacking in his unignited 'thermite' sample, and since the reaction is complete once the aluminum/iron oxide ratio is 1:10, it looks like the reaction was complete before it even got started.

Again the same, except the carbon content is lower from burning some unknown hydrocarbon, and there is some titanium contamination from somewhere. It's all paint.
Paint does not cause molten steel to come pouring out of the side of buildings. Neither does jet fuel which burns no hotter than the kerosene you use to light your barbie. When Larry Silverstein admitted that he told them to "pull" WTC #7 on national TV he did not mean give the building a new paint job. He meant bring it down in a controlled demolition so that he can get the insurance money. Arson for fire insurance is a common practice of Jewish organized crime in NY City.

They used thermite to weaken the core, which is why it made the peremiter columns bend a bit because of the extra pressure.

The antenna did not drop first, that was an optical illusion. Video taken from the other side of the building clearly shows the perimeter columns failing prior to the antenna dropping.

The core fell because it suffered massive damage to its foundations. Having 110 storeys fall on it has that effect. It was never meant to stand alone, it worked in conjunction with the perimeter column to minimize sway and shear.

The whole thermite debate is silly. The towers started their collapsed at the point of impact; thermite would have been blasted off the columns or ignited on impact by the planes. Video evidence clearly shows the perimeter columns bowing slowly over a 30 min period and then suddenly snapping. Thermite could not have caused the exterior columns to bow and snap. We know that the point of collapse started with the perimeter columns because the core columns were still standing after the collapse

Bush's counterterrorism expert Richard Clarke said that at least 50 CIA personnel knew about the coming attacks. @thisguyoverhere1 Thermite bombs are impractical, as they never have been used to destroy a building and it would take 20,000 pounds of thermite to "cut through the beems." Thats not even taking into account that when the heat that does reach the steel column. Specifically, heat will be conducted away to other parts of the structure. Steel isn't a great conductor of heat, but this will happen to some degree. It means more thermite must be added to the mix.

@thisguyoverhere1 CONTINUED: For thermite to be used as a coating on the columns (and to stay there when burning) requires that it be made "sticky", presumably. How will this happen? If some other substance is added to the mix, then it may reduce the efficiency of the thermite reaction, again meaning you'd need more. Also, of course, it would again increase the volume of material required.
Thermite also has never been used to destroy a building.

They took a building, same size width and length, only difference was size. It was a 40 story building. They had enough workers were it would seem normal amount. If they somehow got in the building w/out anyone getting supisous, and no one noticing the Bombs, it took them 3 months to do it

Farrer says the calcium and sulfates in the drywall dissociates at 940C. Hot coals in a fire can reach 1300C, it's a forensics constant. I would have thought you were familiar with farrer's research. But experimentally crushed drywall in humid conditions will accelerate oxidation at high temperatures. Hell, it might even behave the same way in STP, Gonna go try some right now. There is always sulphur in steel, and many possible corrosive sulfates.

@nebula25x the explosive reaction occurs seperately from the flame, meaning they are not from a thermitic reaction. The 'explosion' is due to thermal expansion of the iron, a reaction repeated constantly at a metal shop, when torches are use. The flame is from the paint's vehicle burning, which would leave the paint's pigments, as seen in the scans and the photos of the pigment microspheres. Trouble is, many of the chips found were already exposed to high temperature, so no reaction.

The iron I was referring to was the gray side, admitted to have no bearing whatsover on the 'thermitic' reaction. Show me where they tested any red chips without the gray layer. Also ironic is the fact that the application of asbestos was well understood, and its application on wtc steel probably would not have been blown off, preventing the collapses. I know of a lady that completely eradicated her stomach cancer by a diet change alone. I also know her diet consisted of foods high in 'vitamin B17'. I know it is scientifically meaningless but changing a diet to include lots of home grown fruits, nuts and berries can't hurt.

The reason why Mark wanted to use a DSC instrument here, was to get the unmistakable energetic ''footprint'' of thermite/ate. The only thing that you can dispute here is the origin of the samples he analyzed. The rest is irrelevant.

Mark confirms harrit's findings, and harrit's paper proves paint pigment spheres, not nano thermite. there are no correct stoichiometric properties involved here. All evidence I have seen showns the amount of aluminum severly lacking in his unignited 'thermite' sample, and since the reaction is complete once the aluminum/iron oxide ratio is 1:10, it looks like the reaction was complete before it even got started.

What happens when these grey/red chips samples are heated in a DSC or heated resistively like Mark did, they produce signature exotherms and the rx. products proving unreacted thermitic material. Missing in the chem analysis of the samples is Zn (paint) this is also shown. The analyzed samples is not anti-corrosion paint from the late 60's. PERIOD.

Now look at harrits scans after he burns the material fig 25 or fig 26. Again the same, except the carbon content is lower from burning some unknown hydrocarbon, and there is some titanium contamination from somewhere. It's all paint.

Paint does not cause molten steel to come pouring out of the side of buildings. Neither does jet fuel which burns no hotter than the kerosene you use to light your barbie. When Larry Silverstein admitted that he told them to "pull" WTC #7 on national TV he did not mean give the building a new paint job. He meant bring it down in a controlled demolition so that he can get the insurance money. Arson for fire insurance is a common practice of Jewish organized crime in NY City.

Name one other building complex in the entire city of New York that took out "terrorism insurance" within 6 months of the building being destroyed by airliners, at least one of which had a pod attached to the bottom of it.
