Sounds like a bunch of left wing liberal phsycho bullshit commenting on this video. If any of you had a fucking brain you would know that America is and always has been the country that answers the call to help many many other countries and to ensure freedom and safety for people all over the world especially Americans. You should be ashamed for yourself for the hatred you have for such a GREAT and WONDERFUL country. You should be ashamed of yourself, your ignorance, and your stupidity
What calls for help?.. No1 asks America, all they do is cause destruction. Seriously i appreciate what the soldiers have done but in all fairness there is no reason to be at war in Iraq, go for the cause not for some BS side story. Heres a history lesson, when U.S.A came to "save" the world of the germans they came at the very end when everyone had next to no rations including Germany. The U.S came in at end to steal the glory. P.S I am Canadian, please enlighten yourself b4 opening your mouth
@ibumholekow O shut the fuck up! We went to war because Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. We would have never gone to war if that hadn't happened. Just be thankful that we saved your asses. We were struggling to decide to go to war or not because George Washington adviced us to try and stay away from it. Stupid Canadian.
@RaginRabidRabbit OMG Thanks so much for saving our asses...! But if the U.S is so great at winning wars, why cant they win the wars they start. Vietnam and Iraq both started by the U.S and failed by the U.S.( Wiki Vimy Ridge, then Wiki Omaha Beach... It shows the brillance between the two countries (so we really didnt need you "Saving our Asses")) Oh and i was actually refering to WWI... i guess i should of pointed that out. The U.S entered WWI because of the sinking of Lusitania. FYI.
every country which believes in war, is a cause of the ones which follow. A lot of innocent people have been imprisoned, tortured, and traumatized for America, and if they weren't terrorists already, who is to say them and their family's won't be later.
American Soldiers think they are fighting for your freedom stockman, but please think about this ,for every life they save, about how many times are the American forces are only doing the following:
Contributing to USA's second largest debt
Ensuring a supply of oil
Killing civilians who are in the wrong place at the wrong time
Assassinating legal heads of state and replacing them with leaders who are pro-American
Torturing innocents, on the off chance they have useful information.
True, but in cases it's nessesairy!! World war 2. If we dident react on thousands judes, homosexuals and so on being killed, countries being forced to obey on war and enplacement on ex. mines. How would the world look today?? Would we all be nazies and "Heil" each time we just wanted to say hello? Now that really sucks. War sucks, but oppression and slavery sucks even more!
hey just wanted to tell everyone that this douche bag Nazi aka rainstormaeroponics says no ones dieing from the conflict in iraq and is making fun of the fact that my cousin was killed by an IED in the middle east
Beautiful message. I thought this was going to be another anti-war video, but it's truly great. To imagine what we could be doing to support one another rather than kill. It's sad, but I have faith in mankind and the universal love we unknowingly possess.
hey just wanted to tell everyone that this douche bag Nazi aka rainstormaeroponics says no ones dieing from the conflict in iraq and is making fun of the fact that my cousin was killed by an IED in the middle east
Wow, thank you so very much for your kind words. It means a lot to me. I'm humbled by your words and I hope to be able to keep making videos that you value and find worthwhile. And yes, that little boy is adorable- he's the son of a friend of mine.
The message in this video is very important, especially in this time of seemingly constant terror attacks, and what not. Thank you, Latifa, for watching and writing.
Wow completely did not expect this!- Im kind of glad it was something not completely mindless. The chick was hot tho...but the message in the video was far more important- and great analogy.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. It's awesome that you stuck around for the 'message'- I'm sure many don't do that once they realize it's not porn. It is a silly trick, actually, and I wouldn't do that anymore. But at the time, I just wanted a lot of people to watch the video. Anyway, thank you for writing your thoughts- much appreciated.
The only thing you might get with this type of "false advertising" is the attraction of the wrong type of crowd like "repelghosts" who are complete jackoffs- no pun intended. With that said, keep the videos going- your message will spread eventually.
It's a powerful story isn't it? (Vonnegut's, not mine)- I can take no credit for the story. I'm glad you enjoyed it. And thank you for writing- it's really good to hear from you.
I started reading Vonnegut when I was in about 5th or 6h grade. Of course, I didn't understand everything that he was talking about then. I'm not sure why I'm telling you this- but anyway- great video!!
Thank you very much for writing! Reading Vonnegut at any age is a challenge in comprehension-- so even attempting it at age nine or ten is impressive! What's one of your favorite V books?
I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the video- and even more pleased that you've taken a moment to write your thoughts. Thanks again!
I'll ahve to admit that I haven't read any of Vonnegut's books in years. I read Welcome to the Monkey house quite a few times through junior high and high school. I also liked The Sirens of Titan and Cat's Cradle. The reason that I tried to read them at such a young age was that I really liked the artwork on the covers. I'm not sure how much comprehension was going on at that time, but I remember that I really enjoyed them. I need to reread them now!
I just remembered the short story in Welcome to the Monkey House that I loved: Harrison Bergeron- I can't remember how it is spelled. I just realized that I would remember parts of that story anytime I had to learn about socialism while in school. I'm not sure if he was commenting on socialism when he wrote it, but that's what I took it to mean.
Sirens of Titan had me laughing out loud (literally) in a few places. That was the book that really opened up my mind to the truly limitless freedom of writers to tell any story they want to.
They're worth more than one read, that's for sure.
What about the people from this story that continually un-die inside casket's to replace the children that condense to be turned into glimmers in gods eye?
Thank you for writing. I would love to respond to your question, but quite sincerely I can't make out what your question is asking. Would you mind rephrasing the question?

Also, many countries feel economically and even politically oppressed by the USA. This to me is imbalanced; there is an opportunity cost here. For every US citizen who feels 'freed' by actions of war, there are folks elsewhere who feel less 'free', and perhaps even less safe, lacking dignity. I don't hate the US, unlike many people I have met, but I think some accountability appears to be lacking in the thrusts of US foreign and economic policy.
well, to be honest I live in England, so I can't comment on your everyday freedoms per se. However, 'my' country has been drawn into war almost as deeply as yours, so hope you accept my right to comment. In the Uk it has (since war began), become illegal to protest even peacefully within one mile of our government buildings without local police (and therefore by logical extension, local gov't). this is hypocritical in a free country.
people might be dying, but I don't think you are neccessarily any more free since the war began, and unless it results in the end of the Bush era, I seriously doubt that the final outcome of the war will bring freedom either. Please don't forget that while US and allied servicepeople have died in their hundreds (which is tragic), Iraqi civilians have died in their thousands. They're people too. peace.
Thank you for writing. All comments are appreciated. I too agree and have not forgotten that many people on both sides of the line (including women and children) have been killed as a result of the war. (that's the point of this video... seeing things from a different perspective)
