Facts: The snake is an anaconda and the prey is a Capybara ( the largest rodent on earth) not a Hippo. The reason why the snake spit the Capybara out is a defense mechanism, the guy was poking at it and the snake cannot move very quickly when so full, generally they spit the pray back out so they can defend themselves in most cases just runaway.

That's not a hippo, it's a tapir, a very common animal here in Brazil. Also, this video was made in a city called Araraquara, nearly 100km from here, and there are no hippos in brazil.
