my advice would be to try and be more restrained, you look tense and nervous, your jokes aren't carrying much emphasis. You always seem to be leading up to something extremely hysterical with your voice, but that raises expectations to the point where you'd need something really hilarious to get laughs. But i like how you can relate to the audience and your attempted composure.
Dude! I just bought your book yesterday. I'm 3/4's the way done. It is hilarious. Thank you for making me want to throw up every time I think of going to grad school this fall. hahaha
No--the laughs were real (which is always good news), but the guy who recorded the performance used a different mic to record the crowd and mixed it in later, so if it sounds slightly out of sync, that's why. But it shouldn't.
Ahahaha. That workbook part is so true. "No, I'm clearly not." My Spanish workbook was like that. A party where everyone was speaking in the future indicative.
In a sense, in this day we are living in, a lot of new slang has been introduced. So infact we are speaking in a future indicative. It seems the French textbooks and workbooks sound stupid but they really weren't that far off the mark.
finally a good looking jew
