I don´t use it but i ride my bike up there everyday! It´s worst at the top because it gets "heavy" I you know what I mean :)

It's there as a curiosity, a tourist attraction. There are lots of steep hills in Trondheim, and the cyclists have to tread all the way up them - have no fear ;)
