the timing for this bassline is hard to get right, but you got it. i think the tone sounds great, each lower note seems to have this delayed expanding sound that fits in real well

Great job. I'm trying to learn this myself. I've got the main groove down but I can't figure out the licks. The longer of the two is especially difficult.

Good playing but I think you need to up the treble a lot when playing this. It is a conversation between the guitar and the bass and the bass line is more up front than usual for a pop song. It also will help to bring out that fretless "growl".

It's an interesting model, sounds good too. I know most of what you play, you have a great colletion, I'm so jealous, but then I'm also jealous of your playing (I should practice more). No problem ('m so proud of my basses that I'm always happy to talk about them). Well, this one is a Laurus Quasar SL T800, hand made by an italian luthier. Maple Neck Through, Kaya mahogany body with rosewood top, tonal chambers in body and neck, Noll electronics (I think) act/pass switch and Michel Benedetti pick up. It sounds fantastic (the videos doesn't pay him justice).

Musical projects are suspended for summer holydays: in september we'll start again, meanwhile I'm studying.
