I miss him and when this happened his wife was pregnant with his first child.

The video does NOT show anyone directly in front of the vehicle after it began moving forward. Cops are known liars and will *say* anything to put a sequence of events together in such a way that will exonerate themselves or otherwise show continuity to what they say happened. Cops are also known thieves as well, as witnessed by myself and a former room mate I had. We were arrested many years ago and his scanner was taken but never turned in as evidence. This is merely one of MANY stories!!

It's also rather silly (in some cases; dunno on this one) to claim that the police identified themselves when there are several of them yelling at once, using obscene and vulgar language like. For notice to have been given, it must have been clearly understandable by a reasonable person.

I was walking home last night (friday) through the downtown area where I live. Lo and Behold, I see that the police are having a crackdown of the lowlifes selling drugs in the downtown area. I counted five perps at various points along my journey home, in handcuffs being patted down by cops. All of the suspects were BLACK, which does not suprise me, Blacks are the majority of troublemakers in the downtown area where I live. And blacks wonder why lots of regular people are so sick of them..DUH!

Talk about overkill... an unknown suspect is stopped after visiting an ATM at a convenience store. When he refuses to stop, they SHOOT AT HIM while leaving their car running, and eventually moving through the gas station till it hits something. FUCKING UNBELIEVABLE. Shameful.

Stroberg has been critical of how the case was presented to the grand jury. He said the panel that convened this week was charged with deciding only whether the case should go to a separate grand jury for possible criminal prosecution. Meaning the cops were justified in using deadly force. Now...will the need to change the way the conduct these arrests in the future...most likely. They should get great big signs that say POLICE...or maybe have uniformed cops make the arrest.

I live in the town where this happened, Here are some interesting facts that some of you may not be aware of. As Pastor Ayers enters the Shell Station to use the ATM notice the White Pontiac facing left of the double doors. As he exits the store notice the white Pontiac is replaced with a 1998 Crown Vic, Toccoa PD ?. In front of that car is a 2002 Ford Taurus, belonging to the Toccoa PD detectives?(Looks Similar), both of which are not purchasing gas. If it is, where are those Officers?
I hate to keep posting but the facts are so compeling. That station had been robbed in broad daylight before, (common knowledge for towns people) I think I myself wouldve been shaken by people approaching like that, in that manner, after withdrawing a large amount of cash from the ATM inside.I'm not trying to cast doubt on anyone's character, it's unfair to without knowing the facts the officers had prior to this incident, but those facts will have to be made public.
The suspect of the drug investigation had already left as they got to the gas station, If Mr. Ayers was not a suspect what reasonible cause did they have to detain him?. The UC agents were watching as he entered the store, where there was already other officers present, why wait for an un-armed man to exit the store and enter his vehichle before approaching him? He was in there several minutes withdrawing cash from an ATM to purchase his wife some tire's, (via statements made by relatives)

The video does NOT show anyone directly in front of the vehicle after it began moving forward. Cops are known liars and will *say* anything to put a sequence of events together in such a way that will exonerate themselves or otherwise show continuity to what they say happened. Cops are also known thieves as well, as witnessed by myself and a former room mate I had. We were arrested many years ago and his scanner was taken but never turned in as evidence. This is merely one of MANY stories!!

I don't have a solution, but obviously a mugger isn't going to hesitate to yell "POLICE! FREEZE!" to prevent his victim from fleeing or resisting. So such verbal notice from the police is pretty much worthless.
It's also rather silly (in some cases; dunno on this one) to claim that the police identified themselves when there are several of them yelling at once, using obscene and vulgar language like. For notice to have been given, it must have been clearly understandable by a reasonable person.

I was walking home last night (friday) through the downtown area where I live. Lo and Behold, I see that the police are having a crackdown of the lowlifes selling drugs in the downtown area. I counted five perps at various points along my journey home, in handcuffs being patted down by cops. All of the suspects were BLACK, which does not suprise me, Blacks are the majority of troublemakers in the downtown area where I live. And blacks wonder why lots of regular people are so sick of them..DUH!

Stroberg has been critical of how the case was presented to the grand jury. He said the panel that convened this week was charged with deciding only whether the case should go to a separate grand jury for possible criminal prosecution. Meaning the cops were justified in using deadly force. Now...will the need to change the way the conduct these arrests in the future...most likely. They should get great big signs that say POLICE...or maybe have uniformed cops make the arrest.

This is soooo sad. Yeah, it would have made sense for them to tackle him (if they felt they had to) as he was coming out of the store.If I were the supervising officer on this, I would not have done it in the store b/c of the risk of others getting injured, but coming out of the store and before he got back into his automobile, would have been best.

As Pastor Ayers enters the Shell Station to use the ATM notice the White Pontiac facing left of the double doors. As he exits the store notice the white Pontiac is replaced with a 1998 Crown Vic, Toccoa PD ?. In front of that car is a 2002 Ford Taurus, belonging to the Toccoa PD detectives?(Looks Similar), both of which are not purchasing gas. If it is, where are those Officers?

The suspect of the drug investigation had already left as they got to the gas station, If Mr. Ayers was not a suspect what reasonible cause did they have to detain him?. The UC agents were watching as he entered the store, where there was already other officers present, why wait for an un-armed man to exit the store and enter his vehichle before approaching him? The stupidity of the officers involved is exceeded only by the stupidity of those justifying their actions. What gives anyone the right to jump out of a moving car with a gun drawn in a public place full of people,shouting? Remember, these cops KNEW this man was not under investigation.THEY KNEW IT, and shot him dead anyway. I hope to god, if someone jumps out at me that way, I get the hell out of there as fast as possible too, preferably without any bullet holes.

I love how they always make themselves sound innocent when they write their police report. If they don't want to get hit, don't stand in the way of the vehicle. Then when the officers aren't in the way of the car, they are unloading bullets into him. What's that going to do? They were no longer defending themselves. Not to mention they SHOULDN'T have been there in the first place.

Landsell: you are missing the point. Have you ever had a gun pointed at you? (I have, 3 times) Your adrenaline kicks in as does your "fight and flee" response. These men were NOT IN UNIFORM, they DID NOT approach him slowly, they didn't even take time to put there truck in park - they ran at him with guns yelling.... it doesn't matter WHAT they yelled - any rational human being would try to escape. They are murderers.

Yes, some police are evil, like those who murdered Jean Charles de Menzes, but these ones were just doing their ordinary response to a criminal trying to escape. What about Roger Grant who was shot in the back while laying on the ground and handcuffed for being black in a subway, or Katherine Johnston a 93 year old woman in Atlanta. She was shot 37 times by Atlanta Police when they broke into her home to plant drugs and she discovered them. Their primary job is to protect the government from us and collect revenue for the state. How are the police not our enemies?

They wear uniforms, that makes the all indistinguishable from one another. When one cop rapes robs or murders, its all of them, thats the price of wearing one. The primary job of the police is to protect the government from us, enforce doctrine, and collect revenue for the state. They have no interest in your rights, in protecting you or your property. Ask any cop that has left te force after realizing this. They are not your friends. No other job poses as big of a threat to us as cop.

we have all heard on the news about robbers and carjackers posing as cops. is a robber gonna say "stop..i'm a robber"? absolutely not! and how can someone say if he had stopped he would be alive today? no one knows that..if he had made a sudden move..he could have still been killed! there again..we have all heard stories about trigger happy cops! i don't know what was going through his mind..no one does..or ever will. this is a sad situation and my heart goes out to his family.

Clearly this guy had no intention of hitting the police officers. He was trying to get out of there, and for that he dies. There's culpability on both sides as it seems that everyone, including the officers, panicked. As a result, 1 man is dead, and 2 men will get away with homocide.

Thinnk about this: a black SUV pulls up alongside you and men jump out with guns. Your adrenaline would kick in and you wouldn't comprehend anything except "fight and flee" instinct - which is what he did. They should have waited and questioned him in a non-threatening situation. I hope these police officers are wracked with guilt the rest of their lives - they're probably off justifying it and laughing.
