  • Nice clip, but this is not real color footage for the great part , but colorized footages, some of them are real color footage, but at least 10%

Your clip is nice, this is the most important

  • @FrenchPropagandaV1RR thanks mate , yes coloured/colourised stuff. cheers

  • Beautiful vid. Well done!

  • @LancashirePatriot thanks and sorry for late reply, sometimes yt doesn't let me to answer ...no idea why is that, cheers

  • what music is this?

  • "dark blue world" film soundtrack

  • excellent film..very sobering.

    The music fits perfect.

    Great Post

    Thanks

  • cheers

  • Lovely footage. I have always thought it so strange that we build the most elegant machines to destroy one another. We seem drawn to war as the moth to the flame.

  • cheers

  • sad that the makers didn't really put much effort in the colouration of German planes. :(

  • @GermanWarRemembrance - yes i agree, with tanks it's even worse, grey panthers and kingtigers look very weird, i don't have any better fottage, unfortunately

  • yeah that's true, I only was impressed by the sand coloured tiger on the test run. I think you know what I mean.

  • very nice color Footage

  • @sodomized1 - thanks

  • Petr...you must have a time maschine....never seen so perfect pictures of the WW 2...Thanks a lot ! Greets Armin

  • amazing ';-)

  • thanks

  • Skvělé video jako vždy

    *****

  • Vielen Dank, mein Freund Alex

  • I Petr, can you find footage about weapons factory? We see all time weapons on battlefields, but not the workers who made this. I think it would be interesting for a lot of people. Sorry for my English, my mother language is French.

  • hi daniel,i used to have some footage like that , i thought that nobody likes it , that's why i never used them, i'd say that without narration it would be boring,i've got one video on my former channel about panther restoring

  • Some lovely footage as usual, Cheers

  • thanks duncan

  • one last comment, the crews of all nations who fought in that war have my upmost respect especially the bomber crews who suffered horrendous casualties.

  • Petr whats your fav plane of the war?mine has to be between the 209 or the Mustang albeit once they put the rolls royce merlin engine in it!

  • I like the FW 190 and the crank starting of the ME109--I had told my son about that and there it was to show him. Thanks Petrwarry72!

  • yes the Focke wulf was a nice plane but did'nt quite have the edge on the allied fighter planes, thxs for your comment though.

  • Maybe so, but many of the pilots did! Cheers!

  • hard to say,FW190 is superb plane,i like Corsairs, Bf109 and Spitfires are legends too,i'd say that best was P51 Mustang, obviously it's just mine opinion,i'm not pilot nor qualified historian

  • cheers Petr

  • another fine installment Petr 5*s added to favs, whats next m8?.

  • thanks phil, still have some pacific footage, didn't check it yet

  • looking forward to it friend!!

  • 5* ,but theres no VSS :´(

The music is from Dark Blue World?

  • Correction: VVS

  • thanks igor, yes it is dark blue world soundtrack , sorry i don't know what VVS means

  • VVS is shortnidge for Soviet Air Force

  • aha, what exactly it means? vozduchnaya sila? or?

  • Not sure, I will do some research and send you PM.

  • Voyenno-vozdushnye sily - not sure since when they've started using that

this footage was just from western front, that's why you can't see any

  • as tacticalbattledroid said, hes a bit of a tank man, im a bit of a submarine man myself... but the risk the pilots and gunners took (of all nations & sides) is tremendous and they all have my respect. but the u-boat crews have my most repsect, even they were killing our allied troops and civi's, they must have went through hell following orders that they mostly probably didnt agree with, but they 2 options, either follow orders or be shot for treason and not being loyal to the fuhrer

  • What kind of orders did you mean?

  • Love the Wellington/Lancaster footage from 1:43 onwards. My English grandad flew them during the war as a 23 year old pilot!

  • cheers pete

  • Incredible footage! Five stars.

  • thanks buddy

  • i must say im a bit of a tank man but you have too respect the pilots of these planes';-)

  • cheers
