I have a question. I don't know if this is real or not but I have been told that sex in Japan is a widely spoken of thing and not something they hide or are embaressed about ect, how true is this? But then I have heard things like arranged marriages are still practised. Are they? Its contradictory. Is it like sex in the west where it is not seen as a bad thing, but its still talked of basically behind closed doors most of the time? So what is the view on sex, dating and marriage generally?

@TheErrantWilder There is no arranged marriage, but there is arranged meeting for unmarried people (they have the freedom to choose, of course ). Sex is widely accepted just like in US but there are still some traditional people who are sensitive about it (but not over-sensitive ).
