I used to love to listen to Falco's music. As an American it was about the only music (besides 99 Luftballons) I could find that was in German back in the 1980's and 1990's. But now with the internet I listen to lots of German music.

Yes that could be true. When american singers are successful in the States, then they become famous in Europe automatically. The don't have to do much for it.
