This interviewer is rather lame. Too bad he didn't do his homework. The Venerable Teacher responds to the questioner at his level so the interview comes off as if talking to a three year old child.

When he says Pure Land sect and Avatamsaka sect these are not Zen sects but other Buddha Dharma sects. They may include meditation (i.e., zen), but they are not Zen lineage sects.
