    Sorry I missed your message. Yes it is much greater in mass per plant. The clean but wet weight is usually about 100g per bulb (5 large main cloves). However, the concentration of the 'garlic' molecule is about half that of white garlic. Elephant garlic is more closely related to the leek family! We have been mulching this year's crop this beautiful spring morning.

  • is it true that the yield for elephant garlic is bigger than for standard garlic?
