@GravatusCanis when did Mike Patton sell out? He had the sense to put FNM to rest at a good stage. He came back to it only to play a few shows for the fun of it. He's been in so many different types of side projects in the last 20 years. Why should enjoying making and playing music that other people enjoy equal selling out? He was-is still doing avant garde crazy shit at the same time.
@redsuxh8r Thanks to crack, you can get a blowjob for a buck -- VCR (with remote!) if you've got the luck. You can find most anything at a bargain price courtesy of the crackheads who run the streets at night. Yes Red -- I know ;)
This song in particular didn't sound very special in 1995, there are better songs on that album. Not to mention that when they cut their hair, it did look like everyone else. FNM still made good music after Jim Martin was fired, but to me it wasn't Faith No More anymore, it was something else.
Btw, it's okay to disagree with Beavis & Butthead. Most of the time they were wrong anyway.
As opposed to what? Mr. Bungle? Most people I know don't typically like bands like Faith No More, but they respect them because they were great musicians. I... was just making a tactful comment. There isn't even any room for criticism there.
You know I always figured that Beavis & Butthead's audience had a higher intelligence quotient than what the average person was lead to believe... clearly I was overestimating you. Keep pretending like your opinion has a foundation of reason and logic, it gives your friends something to joke about behind your back. Oh, and don't forget to follow up this comment with something equally inane because if you actually go for a witty or amusing retort, you'll let all of your Fred-like fans down.
I was re-introduced to them w/ this clip too when it premiered. Most of my musical tastes stemmed from this show -- Well, outside of just about ANYTHING Mike Patton does!!
