Basically, from what I seen, the farther they go back, the harder and more it hurts. Anterior teeth, usually are the easiest, as they have one root. Meanwhile, molars are harder because they have four roots. Which is why Molars are usually the most expensive, anterior should be the least expensive!
I had my wisdom teeth out last month and just recently noticed a pink dot on my tooth, i went to my dentist and is referring me back to my specialist who i seen when i had my wisdom teeth out.. he thinks i may need root canal :( my front left tooth, he thinks it is from the anesthetist when i had the sucker in my month during the procedure whilst my wisdom teeth were being removed. I dont see him for 2weeks. the pink dot on my tooth could be a dead nerve, your very brave showing yourself on here
ahhh im kinda scared now..im getting a root canal today at 1:30...6hours from now...but its a back tooth so im hoping it wont hurt as bad...but ive had a few toothaches and i know how you felt...

I hate that pain! I was given a RX for 5mg valium and it doesnt really kick in until the root canal is over! How frustrating!
@earthjewel i go in for root canal in a couple weeks.. Today i went in so he can take a look at it and he poked my tooth with tools.. one point he grabbed some laser thing.. damn that hurt.. not looking forward to this next visit

It was a front tooth with only one root, so it was only a little while. But it was a 3 day process over about 2 weeks.

i just got mine done. it was 3 hours and it sucked ass. my face hurts and they told me to take ibuprofin for pain. wow thanks lol.
