I understand now, after watching, why there is so much critique about the filmmakers being so negatively biased against psychoanalysis and the professionals she interviews. Very, very manipulative filmmaking; if you have no background in psychoanalytic theory then of course the sound bytes used would sound ridiculous. This film needs to be much longer to be even close to comprehensive. A shameful witch hunt and even worse because it seems as if her interview subjects trusted her.
This is extremely disturbing. It is as though France has ignored every development in autism research for the last 50 years--they are living in a psychotic world where their lies are truth and the truth is a lie. Very sad.
