  • This is a demonstration thus all the moves are geared towards aesthetics rather than efficiency.... Why do some people have trouble understanding that?

  • tae: foot technique

    kwon: hand technique

    do: way of life

if kicking butt is a way of life then im all for it!!! tae kwon do rules!!!! :D

  • amazing skills, but it's sad that martial arts have become mainly dancing and gymnastics.

martial arts were developed for one purpose: combat. self defense. violence. Not circus acts.

  • @dragonking700 Shhhhh!! Those of us that know that have an advantage in the street, shhhhhh!!

  • @dragonking700 Martial arts definitely not for violence...And i'm oh so sure these guys couldn't defend themselves...go up to a tiger and tell them what they're doing isn't real and let's see how that goes...

  • @TKDbeastzx

martial arts definitely not for violence? what do you think it's for, lol.

Martial arts were developed because people needed to defend themselves from REAL LIFE VIOLENCE.

And yes, I'm sure many of the tigers can FIGHT. But they wouldn't do too well against an angry man charging at them with a baseball bat, or someone wielding a knife or machete, or someone with a gun, or a rear naked choke from behind, or basically anyone who REALLY wants to kill them.

  • @TKDbeastzx (...continued)

Taekwondo WAS a real martial art. But it's quite obvious a lot of the things you see have no combative value whatsoever. Choreographed movements? backflips? kicking straight up in the air? cartwheels? ....breakdancing??? no....

And yeah, the korean army does taekwondo, and they do it properly.

  • @dragonking700 What about aikido? What about capeiora angloa? What about boxing, wasn't that developed for sport?

  • @buddy2000529

aikido was not developed for sport.

boxing just uses a limited amount of techniques that are used in pretty much every martial art, except with gloves on and not to vital areas of the body (throat, solar plexus, groin, etc.)

never heard of capeiora angloa before...looked it up. Do you seriously think that's a good simulation of real combat?? :/

What it comes down to is that it's not about techniques. It's about your mindset and principles.

  • @dragonking700 I don't believe aikido was for sport. I said boxing was designed for sport. Capioera is not a combat simulation. I was simply listing martial arts NOT DESIGNED FOR COMBAT. To contradict what you said. And the reason you see boxing punches in so many systems is because it cross pollinated quite a bit.

  • @buddy2000529

TECHINQUES do not make you a martial artist, not one bit.

And I would argue that boxing is not a martial art.

boxing was made specifically for sport, and is merely a game using the hands to batter at an opponent. Certain techniques have been studied and optimized for that sport environment. This doesn't make it a MARTIAL art, though...

all sport martial arts either had no intention of being martial arts, or were corrupted FROM traditional martial arts.

  • @dragonking700 You're being over specific in the hopes you an get some victory out of this. I feel there is no need to call non battlefield arts something other than martial art as it is now a watered down term. If you reply again, I will simply ignor you.

  • @buddy2000529

you can call them what you want. They are SPORT martial arts.

If an activity is totally geared towards a sport, it is by definition NOT a martial art, because MARTIAL implies, WAR, MILITARY, COMBAT, REAL LIFE VIOLENCE.

The focus of MARTIAL arts is to learn how to use violence as a survival tool, and how to use it responsibly. It is not about gymnastics, it's not meant to be a 'fun family activity,' and it's not meant for tournaments. MARTIAL ARTS are for real life.

  • @buddy2000529 (cont.)

I'm not saying taekwondo is not martial art. It is. And some of the techniques demonstrated here are real, effective techniques. But martial arts are not about techniques. They're about your mindset and principles.

    The Korean Army practices taekwondo.

And breakdancing is not a part of real taekwondo.

  • @buddy2000529 (...continued)

If you're referring to Judo, not aikido, then yes, that's exactly what happened: they took the art of jujitsu, and took out the lethal parts (mainly the daggers and eye gouges,) and turned it into a sport. Many of the techniques are the same, but a lot has been corrupted. So when someone says "this is a judo throw" that doesn't necessarily mean the throw is totally unusable.

  • @dragonking700 You're really not understanding me are you? can't tell if trolling or just very stupid.

  • no mms!!!!!! ahhhjhhhhhhhhhhhhh eso es genial....... son mis idolos jajajaja :D

  • muay thai will own the fuck out of this shit -.- buak aw will lead the fucking way

  • does anyone know how the song is called?

  • Wow!!

    It´s a fantastic video

can you say me the name of the song?

    thumb up =)

  • @Uzumaki697Returnss it's Lee Jung Hyun - Wa Bakkwo

  • cool

  • where can i download this vid?

  • there great they have great power too!!

  • @gymgirl20001999. Yes, this is a demonstration. Yes this is not a fight. But TaeKwonDo is not a showoff sport. Sure, one would never use the moves they're using here in a real fight, but by doing this stuff, they show they're even better at the standard techniques they would use in a fight. You train to beat people up, and you end up looking good as a result, not the other way around.

  • @Dstork7 dude, i dont't know what you're smoking but seriously, taekwondo useful in a fight? dude that's like pitting a chopstick with a knife. I mean, not to bash on your ego or something, but atleast don't put it on account that taekwondo is for the streets. One word though: UFC.

  • @manahanalex123 it can be though, and it would stand against any other martial arts on the street

  • you guys are forgetting this is a demmostration this is not a fight and this is not class they do this to show off their ability taekwondo is a show offf sport

  • omg this is amazing this is very entertaning i agree they r the best demmo team ever this is what taekwondo is about skill and action and omg i just got on my schools demmoteam luv it

  • Cool ... 2.32 !!!!!!

  • OMG!!!! the last part was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • macó macó macó (8)

  • I love it it's amaZing some people think it's just fighting but there's so much more

  • the little kid in blue uniform is Vovinam, not Taekwondo

  • @KatiushaVN4 nope, he belongs to the k-tigers, we vovinam disciples aren't allowed to wear clothing that isn't the official vovinam uniform, his clothing were made out of silk ( well appearance wise it looks like silk lol )

  • @Kniitte

1:23 You'd better take a look at 1:23. You don't have keen eyes, do you?

  • @KatiushaVN4 you kidden me? you think vovinam is the only martial art that do that kick ( or leg attack)? besides that isn't even the way vovinam does it.

  • @Kniitte

Well, only Vovinam exclusively has that kind of "scissor kick" which grabs the enemy's neck.

  • @KatiushaVN4 stop showing off your ignorance. i don't know where you're getting your information and the vovinam leg technique doesn't even look like this, trust me, i did not learn that vovinam leg technique for 2 years and don't know how it looks like and i'd like to repeat myself, NO vovinam student IS ALLOWED to wear ANY OTHER UNIFORM unless it's the official one except for our deceased 2nd grandmaster

  • We have that hold in Jujitsu, except you're already on the ground grappling, you don't jump onto the person to do that move xD haha

  • Just so everyone knows, the Korean Tigers are, very literally, the best demo team in the world. Not my opinion, but it's the trophies they've won.

  • thank you very much

  • thank you very much

  • anyone can tell me what it is called the songs of this video please

  • Comment removed

  • @omar7515

The song is "Bakkwo" ("Change" in English) by Lee Jung Hyun

  • anyone can tell me what it is called the songs of this video please

  • what is the song???

  • @k2r3h4k Bakwo from Lee Jung Hyun.

I give them 10 points for performance, at most 3 for actual martial arts. Overall, nice thing to watch though.

  • OMG so cool

  • this is no taekwondo lololo all they are doing is dancing lolololo breakdance i mean where are the forms like kichos or tegos and wheres the most important the combat llololo

  • This video made me start kicking my dog... LOL?

  • i liked the part from 0:32 to 0:36

  • 52 people are too fat to do taekwondo

  • @shnowber haha u made my day bro :D

  • @shnowber If they live in america that won't be a problem. LOL MCDOJANGS

  • @SuperBluepurple actaully americans are better at tae kwon do my instructor is a 8 time Olympic champoin and mostly every is in gr8 shape there

  • @benjaminzigo i highly doubt that your taekwondo instructor is a 8 time olympic champion seeing as US wasnt taking olympic medals until the Lopez family came in and it was only very little time before during the 1988s that US took medals

PS: the olympics are every four years meaning that i he had to live all the way into 1970s btw it Olympics began in the 1980s so please dont go around lieing

  • @211kyuubi i'm not rofl his name is master glen cameron 6th degree black belt

been in tkd for 36 years teaches olympic sparring and is and 8 time olympic type sparring champion and taught a guy named master homie that us 4th degree and he could of gone to the olympics you should really fuck off you don't know anything do you know the difference between tkd now and back in 1979

  • @benjaminzigo Honestly if he was really as good as you said he was then he would be in the hall of fame like couch Amr khairy and i highly doubt he's an 8 time olympic champ seeing as no one who currently plays taekwondo knows anything about him so stop lieing

  • @211kyuubi your fucking stupid i didn't say olympic champ i said he's a 8 time olympic type sparring champion you see theres many different sparring types and the best one is olympic type so fuck off your as dumb as patrick on spongebob squarepants

  • @shnowber ur mom is too fat to lift her fingers.

  • @shnowber HAHAHAHAHA! Win!

  • 52 people are too fat to do taekwondo

  • tthis should be the new form of chearleading much more intertaining

  • Uuuuuggggghhhhhh this wouldnt work in MMA, ugggghhhh i do muay thai and brazilian Ju jitsu, Im hard and i can beat everyone up! Ugh MMA, MMA, MMA! Im joking btw!

  • njce

  • Good gymnasts ans showmen, but you're in for trouble if you start thinking that has anything to do with practical useful martial skill. Such athletic skill can help you, if once you develop it you train practical techniques.

  • Korean Tigers are awesome, wish i was as gud as them, Love the song choice to

  • Lol 3 in 1. taekwondo + break dancing + acrobats.

    Awesome!

  • Once I did a 360 deegree kick and I'm just 8!

  • @johnwallace2

I did not know there was a non-korean tae kwon do out there

  • @asuraizen i don't think he claimed that there was.

  • 3:06 XD

  • what is shown here is rather a dance than martial arts, no offense, But a veeery spectacular dance.

  • oh dear this is such shit music, please change this shit drum and bass

  • @y05cahillj drum and bass?

  • What happens at 0:32 o.O

  • @monstdrumm that's the forbidden move, can only demonstrate it! every martial arts sports have their dark moves, the one takes your heart out, the other locks your nerve system.. well, taekwondo happens to have electrocution!

  • @ExczSanityz: how can you say that this is not really about taekwondo? Have you forgotten that there's poomse and kyukpa in Taekwondo? Not just kyorugi...

  • These kind of shows ruined the spirit of Taekwondo. I only see some board-breaking, high jumping and some running around, not really anything about Taekwondo.

  • @ExczSanityz You also have to remember that this is not all of what TKD is about. This video just shows demonstrations.

  • Copy of Japanese MA.

  • korean arts rock, end of story!!

  • So good!

  • Martial arts can be used for many numbers of reasons. Fighting, demos, shows, showing off. Some positive and some negative (if you use ANY art for such a reason, you need to be kicked in the mouth with a steel-toe boot and a tornado kick). But yea, don't think that a martial art is limited to what you are taught. Many have mistaken my warped Taekwondo for Muay Thai since I use a lot of elbows and knees. No, that just happens to be the hardest bones on my body, other than my thick skull.

  • Video irado vei muito bom msm

  • lol that's some serious choreography..they could make a dance team too! :P

  • love those purple robes (forgot the korean name) thats some high rank with awsome attitude

  • Ridículo. Esses caras não são taekwondistas, são bailarinas!

  • jolie

  • You guys don't understand how much blood sweat and tears comes from being able to do this just through training

  • @TheAkatsuki7777 well maybe not blood...definitely alot of sweat and tears tho

  • i love this game!

  • can anyone please send me this song?

  • Oh Great

  • Im fairly sure that their team captain is jesus in disguise.

  • @TheBladeSephara Nah, Jesus could never live up to that

  • @TheBladeSephara you mean Chuck Norris.....XDDDD

  • @TheBladeSephara doubt it jesus is anti violence... so id say something like mabe satan??

  • @death2160 sorry dude, hit the wrong button by mistake

  • @FitnessPro888 lol yet look at all the pll agreing that jesus is violent

  • to all who say that this sucks in a fight: just shut the hell up. if those people want to fight - instead of doing a DEMONSTRATION - they can sure as hell do it. and they could also sure as hell kick the ass of any jealous little waste of life who calls this sport inefficient, because he is not able to impress people like they do. its about people - not about styles.

  • korean tiger dont good for fight

  • Impressive and all but this is more like dancing and gymnastics than TKD!

  • Impressive, im slightly taken aback by the performance nature of this, its martial arts but an art can be performed for the enjoyment of others so i guess its alright, still slightly bothers me but thats just personal opinion

  • Please!! tell me which is the name of that song? My son loves it !! And he is amazed watching this video. I think he's set a target for life, to become as skilled as them...

  • infinite combo

  • Martial Arts = East Asia culture (china , japan , korea)

    East Asian Power

  • --they were really good and that last dude was sick-ness

--i am going to try to train to do that

  • I disagree lol, I'm asian but I've seen many good fighters who were of other race. I get where you are coming from though. You see more asians doing more martial arts because it is more popular there.

  • I think that the % of asian doing martial arts is pretty close (or even higher) to the % of north american who do Hockey

That's why there is more Good Asian Fighter and more North American Good Hockey player ( I can't remember an asian name in NHL)

  • omfg are you kiddingme?

there are so many western ppl who can do tkd as well as native koreans can

  • sick

  • You, are a fucking idiot... What your saying is completely untrue.

If you are going to state facts, make sure there right first.

  • well aren't you racist and full of stupidity

  • really, the best

  • i would love to see the look on the french people's faces

  • a combo of martial arts, break dancing, and cheerleading. i don't know about you, but those are 3 requirements i look for in a MA
